Great news Hinoto-Ri! According to studies, playing video games can reduce stress-- going off of that, if you happen to be suffering from stress due to unexpected demonic kidnappings, playing some video games to let off some steam is a fantastic solution. And it just so happens, the arcade is pretty much empty right now, so what better time to drop by and try to heal some of that trauma?

...Also, if anyone brings me snacks, I'll seriously owe you one.

Haaa, that sounds like fun! It'll give me something to look forwards to after work!

[He finishes ringing up and hands the card over to Taro.]

Right! This should keep you occupied 'til I finish up.

[He slips the card into his pocket.]

[He gives Hizumi a thumbs up and heads off to play some games.]

[He does come back after a few hours with a bunch of tickets, though.]

I think this is a hundred fifty or so. Math was never my best subject. What can I get for this?

And this is why we've got a ticket counter.

[He'll hold a hand out for the tickets, feeding them into the machine once he's got them.]

Lessee... The cheapest stuff goes for about five tickets each, and if you want candies they're around 25 to 50 depending on the size and brand. If you don't mind spending all of them on only one thing, you could probably get a squirt gun.

[He gestures at the boxes in the glass counter, all sorted by ticket price. Even the squirt guns in question are pretty tiny and obviously cheap.]

[He checks the ticket counter.]

Whoa-- looks like you've got 150 even. Which ones do you want?

The three big ones.

[Taro bounces on his feet a little. There is no reason he should act mature, he's in an arcade.]

[And he'll take out those candies, laying them on the counter.]

There you go! And with that... I think I can finally clock out.

It'll only take a few minutes to settle this stuff!

I guess I'll just have to break out of the habit with some delicious pizza, then!

[Because who doesn't love those things I mean come on.]

True. Though I usually end up giving away any of the stuffed animals I win.

Keeping all of them is a little inconvenient, huh? I did the same thing at the festival.

Yeah. Also it's nice to make little kids smile.

Yep! I love kids. They're so full of energy.

Not as often as I'd like. I've kind of been busy in the last few years with... well. Intelligence-gathering.
