[Somebody definitely looks more shook up than usual; and those bandages looked a little much for someone that was supposed to be in a fake fight.]
O-- OK. I can get-- demon kidnapping, that's a-- job hazard. I guess. I-I can understand that!
B-But how come I'm the only one that ends up in an actual death match?! Y-You guys said not to worry, but I thought I was gonna d-die--!! Who the hell let--?!
[OK. Deep breaths Daichi, deep breaths.]
I-- Look, just-- stay away from that Sam guy! H-He's one of us, timid-looking guy, brown hair-- he's completely faking it! C-C-Completely! He's like some kind of monster!! I've never seen anything like it before! He wasn't faking anything, he was trying to kill me-- I-I think he seriously almost did!
Just-- stay away from him?! Alright?!

[Though really, Daichi was going on over and opening his door anyway, waving to Lucas when he came in sight and-- trying not to be as much of a spaz as he usually is.]

Eheh... I probably could have heard you talking from my room, even. These rooms are pretty small.
Oh --
[He takes a moment to glance Daichi up and down.]
Things didn't go very smoothly, huh...?

[His small laugh was over though, as he pulled his scarf a bit onto his shoulders a bit self-consciously as he motioned for Lucas to come in and closed the door behind him. He wasn't wearing his school jacket anymore because of the weather, so the short sleeves just made it easier to see his scrapes and bruises. Nothing too serious it seemed, at least.
Y'know besides his mental freaking out.]
Heh... yeah, not... really. When we woke up we were all in some kinda cage, and the demons said we were gonna fight to death in some kinda tournament. After that we got split off into pairs to fight... someone told us we had to stall as long as possible so we could wait for the rescue team.

[Lucas follows Daichi inside the room, and though he is aware that the injuries aren't too serious, he can't help but keep his gaze from fixating onto them. There was something of an obsessive need to fix what had gone wrong...]
It was probably the same person who gave us the message. I don't know how he found out, but we all received a letter saying that you had been kidnapped to participate in the fight. And...
[A small frown as he tries to recall what the wording had been.]
I'm not sure why, but we were supposed to 'spread a rumor'... Because it would help us find out where the entrance was.
no subject
Unless they didn't...really care about that. Augh, demons are weird. [He really should just give up on understanding.]
I guess it's good since it let you guys come find us... but what was the rumor about? Couldn't you guys find the entrance without it?
no subject
[Lucas brings out his COMP and frowns for a moment or two as he aimlessly pushes buttons.]
I couldn't find it again when I tried, but that's... probably because I'm not very good at this kind of thing. You didn't see it down there?
[Maybe there had been some kind of interference.]
Anyway... I guess the entrance didn't exist before we said it did. Or something like that. I'm not very clear on what happened.
no subject
[He was either dumb enough to forget to check, ooooorrrr he had forgotten in the terror-filled part of that day.]
If an entrance didn't exist, then how did we get down there? [Now he's just curious and confused.] Maybe it's only accessible for demons? Augh, I dunno...
no subject
[Honestly, Lucas probably wasn't the best person to ask about demon machinations, either. He'll give a small shake of his head.]
Well. However it happened, the important thing is that we were able to get to all of you in the end... If we were much later, it would have been...
[Bad.]
no subject
Y-- Yeah. [It was sort of a tense affirmation, but it was true nonetheless. Daichi had been unconscious when the rescue team arrived, he was pretty sure.
Or he just didn't remember what happened. That was perfectly valid too.]
A-Augh, this sort of stuff isn't really my forte. [let's just hurriedly try and ignore all the crap that was making him nervous yes.] Sorry, guess I'm not much of a help.
no subject
[A slight pause.]
Actually, I'm still not too sure what happened when we were coming down to try and find you, either.
[There had been a maze. ...And a fight. Other than that, it had been too surreal to really wrap his mind around.]
Oh -- ! Sorry. I should have done this first. Can I look at your wound?
no subject
[That wasn't really something to laugh about, but it might as well due to be some kind of cheery.
He perked a bit to attention at Lucas' request, unwrapping his scarf as he spoke.] Like I said, it's mostly just a bunch of scratches and bruises-- I think I dislocated my shoulder too at some point. And broke a rib. Or two.
[He did deign to peel one bandage off his arm to show the less-than-pleasant looking scab, though that was mostly because the bandage was coming off anyway.
no subject
[He had traveled enough and fought enough to be personally aware of the fact that broken ribs, to put it frankly, hurt like heck. With the healing power of Lucas and Kumatora combined, though, such injuries had largely been dealt with before they could turn into too much of a problem.]
I'm guessing they put your shoulder back in place - that should be OK, but I can try and heal the damaged tissue around it, too. The ribs sound more dangerous...
[He was surprised Daichi could manage to hide it so well, honestly.]
Is it OK if I give it a try?
no subject
So, he...tried to laugh it off. Sort of.]
Y-- Yeah, go ahead. They said the ribs wouldn't be too bad as long as I, didn't get into another fight again, or anything at least....
no subject
[The last thing he wanted was to regrow Daichi's broken bones at the wrong angle. As he speaks, the room suddenly seems to become steeped in a light, cyan hue; Lucas kneels at Daichi's feet and holds up a hand to the other's chest as his PSI slowly flares to life.]
This will probably hurt a little bit. ...Maybe you should sit on your bed.
[None too comforting words, but he seems to know what he's doing. He stretches out both hands now, and the aura of diffuse light that dances about him is drawn into his palms, collecting into a cloud of silvery, blue... something. His eyes reflect the same color as he glances up towards Daichi with a smile.]
I think you'll need a Beta. Are you ready?
