{ video } I.
{ A young woman wearing a curiously bright (and orange) outfit is sitting on a bench. She shifts and tucks her hair behind her ears. }
My name is...Dagger. { It isn't safe to reveal her actual identity yet. It may never be. } I'm...new.
I haven't seen anyone I recognize { but that doesn't mean they're not here } and I'm a little confused.
{ She rests her hands on two objects in her lap - a rod and a racket. }
These aren't working the way I remember and I can't...summon. { Her brow furrows. } Are there any other Summoners near by?
{ Giving her head a brief shake, she smiles faintly. }
It's nice to meet you. { At least she hopes it is. } Thank you for listening.

For that reason alone, and without paying much attention to anything else this girl was saying, Santa decided to speak up.]
You can level with me; Dagger isn't your real name, is it? You don't have to tell me what your name is but come on, Dagger? Seriously?

So what if it isn't? Why is that any of your business, Mister - ?

[He even throws his hands in the air for emphasis.]
I just spent a long time not using my real name before I got to this place too and being named after an object isn't too common unless it's for a specific reason.
See, the brief pause you took was a clue about it being a secret or fake name and the lack of a second name was an ever so slight clue; since most people don't bother to come up with a surname for their codenames. I mean why bother, right? That'd be dumb as shit. It'd make it too obvious they were hiding something. Plus, most of the cryptonyms used by the CIA, I'd even say all of them, are single word codenames.
[Santa sighs and ruffles the back of his head. He hadn't meant to go into all of this without being asked, but it just sort of happened like word vomit.]
You don't have to worry about me telling anyone though, so don't piss yourself or anything. I locked this message for a reason, after all. Do me a favour and tell me whether or not you're an Anoli spy though, alright?
Oh and my codename is Santa.

She gets to seven before something he says catches her attention. }
There's a specific reason. { She crosses her arms over her chest. } I've never heard of the CIA. What is that?
{ Her eyes widen slowly. } I...no. I'm not. I'm a high-ranking noble. { The highest, in fact, in her world. } It's safer for me to be known as Dagger. I'd prefer it stay that way, Santa.
