Ruri appears with her usual emotionless look, but it looks like she hasn't been sleeping much either. Taking a breath she addresses the network.

"It has come to my attention that many computer networks have been compromised. In fact this video network is also in danger so I've been rebuilding my comp in attempts to deal with this. That being said the large ship in the park, the Battleship Nadesico, is currently a quarantine zone for undamaged computers, and the lower hangar area is being converted into a triage center for any AI's who may be damaged by the outbreak. If you have any programming knowledge I encourage you to come so we can look to find a cure together. I will keep this channel open on a dummy terminal until it degrades, and will open a new one at 6am and 6pm if it does fail."

I've spent the better part of the past several days shoring up the defenses of the government network and that of the JP's building against intrusion from the viruses. I believe what I have now should hold for a time, but...

[She glances off-camera for a moment, gritting her teeth before looking back to the feed.]

...I have regrettably reached the physical limit of what I'm capable of accomplishing. Atsuro and Naoya should be able to assist with the countermeasures. I've found them both to be extremely capable and knowledgeable in the past.

Unfortunately, I'm not authorized to give out the access codes for either of the servers, so... I'm going to be relying on the rest of you to finish this in time.

[This response is just full of things Fumi finds extremely difficult to say.]

[She's cut off as her watch is taken from her hand by a rather stern looking youth. As the view pulls out, it shows Fumi sitting down on a cot in the corner of the JP's office. Senri walks over, lightly pushing Fumi onto her back, with a single word admonishment: "Sleep."]

"Understood. If you have any data you've found cleaning the government network that you are comfortable transmitting I would be grateful, but I understand that there are simply things that can not be let out."

She lets out a tired breath and peers to the side herself.

"My prime concern is the various AIs out there who may be suffering personality damage or loss of program."

"I also have some of the code I'm monitoring in a closed virtual environment to see exactly how it infects and replicates."

All right. And I think I'm probably about to be sternly rebuked again for not sleeping, so I'm going to go as soon as these files are finished sending.
