So, has anyone else noticed that the network's been performing slowly lately? Unless it's something wrong with my COMP...

It's a little irritating, to be honest. I've run a few scans, but my antivirus isn't catching anything. Anybody happen to know someone good for checking out these things? There shouldn't be any files on here that would cause it to go so slowly all of the sudden.

Nominations can be whoever you want, but... well, this is filtered to the men only, so it might be a little awkward if you aren't careful! Of course, anonymous nominations are possible as well if you want to take that route!

Food, supplies, that kind of thing. Also extra equips on those MMOs.

Desco's eyes widen.

"MMOs! The legendary timesinks filled with people incapable of functioning in the real world! Desco has heard that they are even more sleep-depriving than the Disgaea™ series!"

Desco stares at Hizumi with a new-found respect, clapping her claws together in applause.

"Desco can't believe that someone sucked in by an MMO managed to escape!"

Actually, if you looked around town you'd find more than you think. These days, there are a lot of casual gamers, so meeting a person who plays MMOs without being too attached isn't so rare.

"No wonder the voting public is so ignorant! The corrupternment must be keeping them pacified with MMOs! And here Desco was thinking they were completely incompetent!"

Corrupternment? Well, any government is going to have its corruption, but...

I don't think the MMOs are directly a part of the government's plan here.

Desco's expression flattens out.

"Annnd Desco's opinion goes right back down again."

Hey, hey! What's that all about?!

"If they're not doing it on purpose that just means the corrupternment is allowing the voting public to escape from reality! And believe Desco when she says that the voting public here is crazy. Dumb corrupternment."

Does your... "corrupternment" usually employ tactics like that?

[tyrantball]

"Bribery! Propaganda! Physical force! These are the three pillars of a healthy corrupternment! As far as Desco can tell, the one here doesn't use any of them."

There's a slight pause as Desco taps one claw against her teeth in thought.

"Desco is pretty sure, yes! As far as she can tell, the corrupternment here doesn't use them AT ALL, unless they're using them in secret or something! And what would even be the point of that?"

The people here seem like they'd get upset if you were too blatant about it, but...

Well, let's just say I highly doubt even this government is completely devoid of it.

"...these are the weirdest voters Desco has ever seen."

Well, when you come to a new world, it can't be helped if some things are different, right?

Desco sulks a little, puffing her cheeks out.

"Well, it's not anything like any of the other worlds Desco has been to."

Ooooh? What were those worlds like?

[tyrantball]

"Well, Hades is where sinful humans go when they die! Then they become Prinnies and spend years and years being derided and abused while they work to pay off their sins and reincarnate! Desco liked it there. She used to play in the lava pools! And Desco is also a teacher at Evil Academy, a school that is also an entire Netherworld! That's where Desco met Princess Sapphire, and her husband, and Dean Mao, too! Dean Mao even ended up creating Desco's little sisters, the Mass Production Units, out of his burning pathos!"

That's an awful lot of traveling. Is it common to go from world to world like that where you're from?

Desco blinks in a series of twitches cascading down her body.

"Of course! There are countless Netherworlds in this pluralistic universe!"

Desco's expression takes on a look of devilish glee.

"And one day Desco will conquer them ALL in the name of Big Sis!"

What about non-Netherworlds? Ones with humans and cities like this one.

Blink blink.

"Desco thought that their inclusion in her dreams of conquest was assumed."

In that case, I suppose you never paid much attention to them.

"Why would Desco need to? The conquest of human worlds is a foregone conclusion, for no human can stop the relentless onslaught of the Final Boss~!"
