When the feed snaps on, there's nobody in the frame - just a massive gun. The feed stays trained on it for at least half a minute before it's moved around to stare Desco in the face.

"Listen up, all you humans! Desco and Miss Nano beat up a big red guy the other night, and Desco stole his gun!"

At this, Desco glances away from the video feed towards the direction of the gun and licks her lips.

"Desco doesn't know what it's made of, but it's the most delicious metal she's ever tasted. So the Final Boss is officially putting out a bounty on ALL of the red guys! If you bring Desco their guns, she will personally see to it that someone you don't like will cease to exist!"

A slight pause as she considers her offer.

"Desco reserves the right to refuse if her target has already brought her a gun. And also if Desco likes the target Desco will probably just kill you instead."

She gives the camera a bright smile, showing off her shark-like teeth.

"Now, if you've got all that, heed the words of the Final Boss and go beat up those red guys!"

Addendum:

The feed suddenly snaps back, revealing Desco once again.

"All Desco wants is the guns. If you can get one without beating up the red guys, feel free to do that instead. Bye bye!"

"I'm sure she meant no personal grievance to you, besides, if it was a matter of personal defense, then there's no harm done here. I can promise you that his won't be an issue just between her and you if you push the matter to vengeance."

Fake smiles and cheeriness all around. "After all, an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind~"

He's not saying anything, but there's someone else on the network, just watching and listening.

"Even were I inclined to accept your reasoning, it went far beyond that when she put a bounty on every son of Sanguinius with her little post. No, there can only be war."

Right okay never mind the just watching then. Otoha turns on video, his expression cold.

"If you lay a hand on her I will destroy you."

"Get in line then." Cerberus doesn't seem particularly inclined to budge on this point.

"What sort of backwater time period are you from that vengeance and war are the only things you can come up with? She's only a child and her ways of thinking are different; are you so barbaric that you hit first and think later?"

[greyerrant]

"I am from the 30th Millenium of mankind, and she is a daemon. What her ways are thinking of matter not at all, her kind are anathema to humanity, as she has demonstrated with her own actions, and I am sworn to end her. Don't get in my way."

"Consider me 'in your way,' then because I won't let you hurt her. Just because she's not human does not make her a threat to humanity. Don't color her with the racism you've developed towards others."

[greyerrant]

"I've met creatures that are no threat to humanity. I've even tried to make peace with them. That being is not one of them."

[bakegarasu]

"She has a name. She's not a 'creature', she's a person. Use her damn name."

"I don't care."

"Fuck you. It's jackasses like you who won't recognize a person as a person who're the worst sort of people in existence."

It's personal now.

"You haven't seen the worst people in existence until you've seen planets burn at the behest of dark gods and the ambitions of a lost son, mortal. Don't presume to tell me where I stand by fighting for humanity against such things."

[bakegarasu]

"First - I'm not mortal, I'm a guardian of my city. Second - she's a little girl. She does what she knows. I was going to assume you were an adult, but apparently you're a stupid kid if even someone like me knows better than you."

His expression slides into a smirk. "I know a thing or two about places burning because of lost people. Maybe not whole planets, but enough. If you touch her, I swear on my contract that I will hunt you down and not stop until you're in pieces."

"Her name is Desco, and she's a little girl who doesn't know any better. The only monster I can see here is you."
