[There are a million things wrong here, and Chromedome finds himself thinking of every single one of them. Was he kidnapped? Is his hallucinating? Perhaps he's been captured and having his mind messed with... though he's been paying attention to the little details, and they don't fit in with any mnemosurgery he knows. Yes, he's panicking just a ~~lot~~ little, but he manages to keep it to himself. For now.

He gathers that he's in some sort of organic colony, which is strange in itself. Still, he knows better than to run around where easily excitable organics can see him. Trying to duck behind buildings and stay out of sight is a hard thing when you're twenty-something feet tall. Eventually he gives up on that and figures out how to work this odd network device.

Casual as ever, he leans casually against a building and speaks as casually as he casually can.]

Hello! I'm Chromedome, I seem to have lost the ship I'm on and everyone on it. Any help retrieving them will be rewarded with hugs and friendship. So if anyone from the Lost Light is here I'd definitely like to hear your voice right about now.

Oh, and questions like "Where am I," and "What am I doing here" should probably be answered. As a general rule, it's never a good thing when you have to ask those questions.

One final thing: Yes, I am a giant robot. Nice to meet you.

He's been more of a nuisance than a threat for the time being, though I prefer to remain cautious... Will I have to extend this caution to you as well? I'd prefer it if I had less enemies in this city.

[Not that she and Brainstorm were necessarily enemies...]

Then there's something we can agree on... I don't wish for any harm or restriction towards Brainstorm, but forgive me if I'm intimidated by the fact that more of his passing schemes could become true reality if he had an accomplice with him.

[Taking on one giant robot? She could probably handle it. Two at once? Not so much.]

I hope you're generally more pleasant than he is... so far, that seems to be the case.

I know where I am and I have a few vague answers to why I'm here. It's enough for me to live with for now. Brainstorm will fill me in as we go along.

So bounty hunter and mercenary huh? Sounds like an exciting life if I've ever heard one.

You likely wouldn't have a better source of information, if you can actually manage to get some straight answers out of him. Did he inform you of his position as one of the members of what the city's been referring to as The Seven? He's one of the original visitors to this place... and has a special position with the government as a result.

[Granted, from what Samus has learned, she doesn't quite think that the government has the best grasp of their sistuation either...]

I worked as a freelance bounty hunter back in my own universe for several years before I came here... it made sense to carry on with the occupation I knew best. I was recently licensed by the government.

No, he might have left that little detail out. I can't imagine why he'd do it, he's not a big people person. Oh well, I guess I'm 'well connected' then. Go me.

Really? I hadn't noticed. [Brainstorm was causing Samus to flex her sarcasm muscles way more than she'd been used to.] Beyond his sense of "responsibility" I'm sure he feels, from what I've gathered the special privileges he receives from his association with the government greatly outweighs any cons that come with the job. He's helping us good guys since apparently it's convenient for his own personal gain.

Was he always this friendly back in your world?
