[There are a million things wrong here, and Chromedome finds himself thinking of every single one of them. Was he kidnapped? Is his hallucinating? Perhaps he's been captured and having his mind messed with... though he's been paying attention to the little details, and they don't fit in with any mnemosurgery he knows. Yes, he's panicking just a lot little, but he manages to keep it to himself. For now.
He gathers that he's in some sort of organic colony, which is strange in itself. Still, he knows better than to run around where easily excitable organics can see him. Trying to duck behind buildings and stay out of sight is a hard thing when you're twenty-something feet tall. Eventually he gives up on that and figures out how to work this odd network device.
Casual as ever, he leans casually against a building and speaks as casually as he casually can.]
Hello! I'm Chromedome, I seem to have lost the ship I'm on and everyone on it. Any help retrieving them will be rewarded with hugs and friendship. So if anyone from the Lost Light is here I'd definitely like to hear your voice right about now.
Oh, and questions like "Where am I," and "What am I doing here" should probably be answered. As a general rule, it's never a good thing when you have to ask those questions.
One final thing: Yes, I am a giant robot. Nice to meet you.

A giant robot?! You mean like Mr. Brainstorm? Are you a friend of his? I bet he'd like to see you! He was the only giant robot here for awhile. Were you also on a post-war vacation-adventure before showing up here?

I'm Brainstorm's only friend actually, and if he's actually glad to see me, I'd be surprised.
You mean was I aboard the Lost Light before I came here? Yeah, I was.

[Why indeed?]
...What's the Lost Light?

[That's a good reason eh?]
The Lost Light is the ship we were on before we ended up here. We were on a quest to find a myth. At least, that's what our leader, Rodimus, is doing.

Even Chief Aramaki has multiple friends, and he's regarded by most of the Section 9 time as a 'crotchety old man.'
[Tachikoma, you really shouldn't be talking about the personal lives of your co-workers...]
Oh, okay! Brainstorm just mentioned you were looking for mythical figures, but didn't mention a ship...

[Curious little organic.]

We're a covert military police force under government direction to protect against cyber-criminals as well as to work as an intelligence/counter-intelligence unit.
Back home I was a think tank, a combat vehicle with an AI to allow independent movement. The other Tachikomas and I were great support vehicles and team members of Section 9. Oh, but here I'm a human! It's been a lot of fun! I've always wanted to try being human!!

And now you're... organic?
[Let's take a moment to appreciate how weird that sounds.]
I'm not sure I can handle being human, to be honest.

Oh, but I have a cyberbrain, so I guess you could say I'm not completely organic, since I have that. Then again, even when I was a tank, I had neurochips, so I had some organic parts even then... I guess what's different is instead of being an AI running a tank body, I'm actually a person running a body!
It's been pretty fun though! You should try it sometime! I can smell things instead of just analyzing air content and taste things! Oh my gosh, eating is so much fun!!
