"I was wondering if I could ask assistance on a domestic matter? I recently had this odd demon run amok on the Nadesico and destroy several personal effects and was wondering if anyone would be willing to assist me on replacing them? Doing laundry every day is becoming rather bothersome and I'm a bit out of my element doing such a task on my own. Any assistance would be welcome."

So what is it like on a spaceship?

"Its like living and working all in the same building."

How do you tell the difference?

"There are far fewer containment alarms in a building than on a space ship. If you'd like to spend some time on the Nadesico you could see what its like. Though we're using the Earth's gravity and not the ship's."

I'd like that. Maybe you can give me a tour.

"Just let me know when. So I can make sure that the decks aren't dusty."

"Oh, right, there is a school here. I got a notice about that."

I've never seen you in class, Ruri-san... do you not attend?

"I was working on my Doctorate at home. High School is a little..... Low... For me."

There's a college here too. You might be able to keep studying there.

"The type of physics I was studying won't exist for another 200 years."

Maybe you could teach instead!

Ruri just stares at Nano.

"Would students respect a teacher their age or possibly younger?"

I respect Hakase, and she's only eight years old. She's the smartest person I know.

"Yes, but are you the norm of students?"

No, Ruri really doesn't know. She has almost no contact with people her age.

Well, I haven't been going to school for very long, so...

[Robot and all.]

"If my current project doesn't lead to something I may have to look into it then."

It's worth trying, at least.

"I'm about to see if my project takes off. Who knows after that."

What sort of project are you working on?

"One involving computers. Nothing too interesting."
