"I was wondering if I could ask assistance on a domestic matter? I recently had this odd demon run amok on the Nadesico and destroy several personal effects and was wondering if anyone would be willing to assist me on replacing them? Doing laundry every day is becoming rather bothersome and I'm a bit out of my element doing such a task on my own. Any assistance would be welcome."

"Unless you know how to sew I doubt it can be repaired. Most of the non cloth damage has all ready been repaired by the ship's internal systems."

Sewing would be no problem. I made Kitten's clothes all of the time.

What's the fabric colour? I'll go find some matching thread.

"The one thing I really need sewn is brown, and that needs to be re-sized. The other things were shredded to the point I'm not certain its worth fixing them."

Hold on to the fabric anyway. You never know. [ He can at least try to mend them with his magic, anyway. ] I can do the re-sizing too. No problem.

[ Sewing is one of his few recognized talents. It's kind of exciting to feel useful too. ]

"Most of it all is in a mangled pile in my closet. It must be nice having a talent that can be used regardless of location though."

"I'm a computer operator from the 23rd century. I'm still working on the interface with technology here."

"There aren't a lot of practical uses for being able to calculate pi to its 1,000,000,000th number, trust me. As for the red and blue wires, I think that's explosives."

[ Pi is that big?! Mikale learned something new. ]

Ah, well... Hey, you do know math though, right? I could use your help resizing the clothes. That takes some calculating.

[ Okay, he's lying. It's simple math that he could do on his own. But Satou isn't here to make this girl respect her talents, so he'll take that job in her place. ]

"It seems like it'd be simple math but if I can help I'd be glad to."

I'm sure you'd do it more accurately than me. That's what's really important in sewing. Accurate math.

"Really? I was told that eye for detail was the most important part by Minato."

Well if your math is wrong then it'll just be a mess that no one can wear, right? Though, uh... Minato might be more right than me?

"She's not here though... Which is the main cause of this issue."

Does she normally take care of your clothes?

"She did. Well, other than my uniforms, but those were just supplied."

You two must be really close?

"She was the second person to adopt me."

Adopt you?

[ Sounds familiar there. ]

"Yes, back home I was adopted. Well, twice actually, but its not a very interesting story."

So you have three families too?

[ It's unusual to meet someone in a similar situation to him. ]
