Um... now that everyone is out of the hospital, I was curious. Did anyone else remember something extra? I still have a memory that I know isn't one of mine, and I'm pretty sure it didn't belong to the person whose memories I had during everything that happened. If anyone knows anything about this, please call me back. I've been worried about it, and I'd feel a lot better knowing it wasn't just me.

I wanted to apologize to you personally for the way I was acting before. I know it wasn't my fault, but I feel really bad about the way I talked to you and how I was behaving. Even if I had someone else's memories at the time, I still wasn't acting like a very good friend, and I'm really sorry. I hope you'll forgive me.

[She bows her head very sincerely, frowning worriedly and looking all kinds of contrite.]

[This next call is going to be awkward no matter how she does it, so Nano decides to just be direct.]

Xion-san, I still have your coat. I thought you'd probably want it back. If you can bring the clothes I gave you too, I was planning to do some laundry this weekend...

Um! I'll make some tea and cookies to share, so if you want to come over, I'll be around all day.

[Nano's seen this place before - it's pretty hard to miss, looming over the Aquarius District every morning on her way to school. But it showed up a number of times in the memories she got from Xion, and there's still a few strange lingering memories of things she knew how to do that Nano isn't exactly sure how to deal with, so she's decided to come by and check it out for herself. Of course, she has no idea that several of her friends actually live here, so she understandably looks a little nervous as she approaches the front gate.]

[She eyes the area for guests to take off her shoes, but... Her boots stay firmly upon her feet, and she walks to where she heard the other girls voice. Nano's close are all in a bag, but the current set she's wearing. She does have to wear something, after all.]

I'm sorry that I took all of your clothes. They're all clean, I washed them.

[While she still had the mundane knowledge how.]

[Nano's got her school uniform on, it being the only set of clothes she didn't give away when Xion was here before.]

It's okay. I offered, after all.

[Leaning down to gently pick up the coat, she walks it over to Xion, holding it out for her. It's nice and clean and shiny - just like new.]

I cleaned your coat for you, too. Don't worry, I was gentle with it.

Thank you. I'll go.. change out of these now.

[She takes the coat, offering the bag in return. And of course, once Nano takes it, she's already moving off to change her clothes.]

Thank you. Sorry about the trouble.

[Nano takes the bag, nodding politely before sitting back down at the table, setting it beside her. By the time Xion gets back, there'll be a cup of tea and a small plate of cookies set out at the table for her, with Nano sitting at the other side.]

[Shes really glad to have her coat back. Not to mention the fact it smells really nice again from being washed.

When Xion comes back, she spots the tea and cookies, and everything just gets a little more confusing.]

Oh, you didn't have to. I was just going to get my coat and leave.

Oh... are you sure? I was hoping we could talk a little.

[There are some things she wants to ask, but she really just wants Xion to know that there are no hard feelings and offer her a shoulder to lean on if she needs one. Those are some lonely feelings and memories she's got, and Nano feels bad.]

About what?

[She understands that Nano is nice, but... Well, she's not really sure what they'd even talk about. The memories that happened? Well, they could, but Xion is still a little flighty, even after being here for so long.]

I...

[It's honestly a question Nano isn't entirely prepared to answer. She really just wants to be here for someone who's going through something she views as similar to what she was going through before she met Yukko, Mio, and Mai. But can she really say something like that?

After a moment's consideration, she answers.]

Anything you want. I hope you won't find it too intrusive of me to say this, but your memories felt very... lonely. And sometimes sad. And I know our lives are different, but I feel like I can understand you a little, since I know what it's like to be afraid that people will reject you for being different. So if you ever wanted to just talk or anything, um...

[Yeah, she decided to say something after all, but in true Nano fashion, she's sort of babbling over here and kind of fidgeting a little.]

...I-I'd be happy to listen.

[Needless to say, Xion is a little shellshocked at the words coming from Nano's mouth. They're, in all honesty, not what she would have expected. From anyone, really.

When she speaks, it's instant denial that comes through. Words she's heard a thousand times before: She can't be lonely. She has Roxas an Axel. Besides, she doesn't have a heart to feel lonely or sad.]

I can't be lonely or sad. I- You had my memories, right? So you should know I don't have a heart to feel that way.

[Nano shakes her head. She's not letting that one go so easily.]

But it really felt like that to me. And I don't have a heart, either - not like a real person's - but I've felt lonely and sad before. And happy, and angry, and afraid, and all kinds of things.

I think we're different. I don't think comparing both of us would... really work all that well. It's two different things, I think.

...All right.

[There's a slow (and perhaps the slightest bit sad) nod from Nano at that. She doesn't agree, but she doesn't want to push the issue too hard either.]

I'm sorry for being presumptuous.

[Frowning a little, she bows her head politely.]

We... can talk about something else, if you'd like to?

[There's a short pause as she desperately casts about for a topic.]

...Oh! I think I still remember some things about fighting and magic. I was wondering if you would show me how to do it sometime, if it's not too much trouble for you.

[Once again, she's caught off guard by Nano questioning her. Why does she want to learn how to fight?

Well, she supposes they're good skills to know (the only ones she really does know), so she finds herself nodding despite her hesitation.]

I.. guess I could. I mean, I don't really know how to teach something like magic, but I think I can try?

I've never really tried before either, I just... feel like I could do it if someone who knows how showed me.

[That's the best way she can really explain it.]

And, um... if you like, I can teach you how to cook. I know it's not the same thing, but I'd feel bad asking you for a favor like that without doing something for you in return.

[And she wants to be friends, but she's holding back from phrasing it that way specifically. While she doesn't remember specifics, she does know that's a loaded concept for Xion.]

I.. think I can, I guess. [She nods to herself slowly.] I think I can cook just fine, though.

[no you cant Xion you're a terrible cook.]

[Oh... right. Well, maybe Nano can still save this.]

I could show you how to make some new recipes, then!

Well, I guess those would probably be useful! Alright, I'll teach you.

Okay! Thank you so much, Xion-san. I was so worried you wouldn't want to see me or speak to me again after everything that happened, so I feel very relieved.

It's not that I wouldn't but...

[Well, she shouldn't.]

I think it's fine now? I'm not really sure, I've never been in this type of position.

[Nano nods. At this point, she pretty much knows what Xion is talking about.]

Mm, I think it should be fine.

[And all this talk about residual memories reminds her...]

Oh, speaking of fine... is it the same for you too, Xion-san? Do your toes feel... normal? It must have been a very strange feeling, so I'm sorry about that.

Yes, they feel normal now. It was very strange, I haven't ever had to worry about something like that before, worrying if when I put my shoes on if my toes would fall off.

I'm used to it, so I don't think about it much.

[Nano smiles sheepishly, rubbing the back of her neck.]

Actually, turning the key on my back makes one of them shoot off my foot like a rocket. You're lucky not to have to worry about it.

[It's weird and embarrassing, but at least Nano can laugh about it a little.]

Yeah, that'd be... really hard to deal with. Especially with what I have to do.

[One of her limbs falling off in the middle of a fight... Not a good thing.]

Thankfully, everyone here has been very polite about not touching it without asking me first. I was really worried about that when I first came here.

[But enough of that.]

Anyway... um, I know I don't have a keyblade of my own, but I've been here for a while and I have a lot of experience using Personas, so if you want I can come with you sometimes to support you while you fight.

[Support? It's happened rarely, sure, that she'd be sent out with another one of the members, but... Constant help? Well, it's not like she can say no to it.]

I don't think I've used a persona once since I came here. [Maybe she should. But she likes bashing things with her keyblade more. Those things being heartless. Would a Persona even work on collecting their hearts?]

I'd be grateful for the help, but... I should probably teach you first, shouldn't I?
