What do you do when you put together the pieces of a mystery, and it all points towards you being the person that everyone dislikes, the one whose motives or ambitions are counter to everyone else's?

I don't suppose there's any villainous-types here who might shed some light on this state of being...

I wanted to find out who I was, and why people acted so strangely around me... now that I know, I'm not sure if I should keep up the charade of ignorance. It's one of those situations where you toe the line and toe it and toe it... but when you do finally cross it, you can't just go back to toeing it anymore.
