[Aoi has been acting strangely as of late. Not only has she been calling Avitus and Otonashi both "idiots" quite often, but as the memories get worse she can sometimes be seen with a hand over her face, clearly in pain. Whenever she catches herself, she does feel horrible, but she's been able to do that less and less recently...]

[It was just meant to be a simple shopping trip, but for some reason or another, Aoi found herself drawn to a weapons shop. Which, while not entirely odd in itself (she did need to maintain her naginata after all) was a bit different when she started looking closely at the combat knives on sale. Just looking at them, she somehow knows she would be able to use these - and quite well if it came to it.]

Well, it might come in handy...

[After a while, it became hard to deny that she probably knew the person whose memories she had gained. After all, she had met Hinata and Otonashi and knew they were part of Yuri's group. Eventually, Yuri will get a call:]

I think we need to talk.

[She isn't so sure that will help much... Still, after a moment she gives a slight nod.]

...I suppose a little rest couldn't hurt. Excuse me.

[And with that, she will make her way to her room, her mind filled with a piercing pain. Just what were those shadowy monsters...?]

*He won't protest Aoi leaving, but he's not following suit. He's being stubborn like that, and hiding any signs of his own discomfort reasonably well. His feathers may be a little floofed, but he's keeping his wings tightly to himself.*

*And he turns his attention back to Otonashi after a second, trying to be discreet about it. He's still not in any mood for being alone, but he doesn't have a clear idea of what to start a conversation with, and the one they've been having isn't the cheeriest.*

[He isn't convinced that she can nap this off either, but he seems to be running out of options. This isn't conventional in the slightest.]

If you can't do it, you can always come back. [She's not really alone, after all. Then, to Avitus:]

You don't want to try sleeping? ... I don't think it's a cure, but it might relieve pain if you two can sleep.

*He's quiet a second, looking back down.*

I could never go back to sleep after bad dreams unless my brother Heldrad--

*And he stopped himself there, cheeks tinting purple.*

She may not be able to either, but... [He doesn't know what else to suggest. There's no medicine for painful memory swapping. What's this about brothers?]

... Eh? [Of course if he wants to pretend it didn't happen, Otonashi can be graceful about that too.]

*he'll shake his head... nah, doesn't really feel like bringing it up.*

I'd rather do stuff right now.

*except, he's not sure what to do. He's done all the cleaning for the day, really. Maybe he should work on art, but that tends to be a solitary thing, and he doesn't want to go be by himself right now either....*
