[The feed opens up and Robo appears on camera. He looks tired.

How does a robot get tired?]

Does anyone here know anything about Pokémon?

"Yeah, but that takes a lot of assumptions about how I work that I don't even know, and I don't think there's a Manaphy here."

Why does he know what a Manaphy is?

"We're not the only ones going through this either it seems."

"Speaking of that, how do you feel?"

He's not sure why he is suffering but he isn't the only one. Maybe she is too.

"It's a theory. I never said it was a plausible theory."

Kotoha drags her hand down her face and groans at the last question.

"I've been having nightmares about the Vampire Dimension for the past two days. This would be so much easier to deal with if Jenkins was here."

"Every situation is easier to handle when Jenkins is around. I was hoping he got pulled through, too. So far, no luck in getting in touch with him."

He honestly feels bad for those nightmares. There's really nothing he can say about the vampire dimension that could be reassuring to someone close to human.

"And I keep wondering where my Pokémon got to. Having the phantom feeling that you are missing something important when you really aren't."

Kotoha pauses for a moment and switches the feed over to a private channel.

"Okay, I locked the conversation. Um."

She pauses for a moment, unsure of how to say it.

"...which of my memories do you have, exactly?"

From the look on her face, there's more than a few she'd be embarrassed to share.

It takes him a moment of wondering why she had to switch to private, until she comes right out with it.

"When I... you first got Tomoe. When you caught Volcarona. An airship that froze an entire town. Also N coming to the rescue and that you defeated Ghetis."

Oh, well those are the stronger ones coming through right now, but...

"Also, I keep getting the feeling that I should have hair. I actually remember letting wind blow through it."

Kotoha lets out a relieved sigh at that. Apparently you didn't get any of the embarrassing ones.

"I remember...Tesla, Jack Tarot...the Vampire Dimension, of course...stopping Edison."

A slight pause.

"Um. I...might have a few memories of, uh...Nightingale, too."

...she is actually sort of blushing at that.

"..."

Robo is just going to stare at the screen. Well, this is awkward. The rest of that stuff he'd love to talk with someone about but, nope. It doesn't help having a vague idea of how she feels about those memories in her head.

"Look, we were young and I'd blame hormones, but I can't. So how about let's pretend I'm too old and you're too young and we never mention her again, okay?"

He was 8 years old, but who is counting?

Kotoha does a doubletake at that.

"What? No! That's not what I meant!"

She's obviously flustered.

"Just, uh...it's kind of embarrassing to say, but...um. They're your memories, okay? So my brain thinks I was doing those things with her."

She fidgets a bit before blurting it out.

"Um, you have very good taste in women!"

Right now she is about as red as the top half of a Pokeball.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

"Try really hard not to think on it. Also, do me a favor. From here on out, let's never talk about why I like girls. Or how much you approve of the women I like. How about we pretend I'm an emotionless robot?"

Also, there is so much wrong with her having his memories of liking people that he really doesn't want to face.

"You should be figuring that stuff out on your own."

Kotoha blinks a few times.

"I did, though. Figure it out, I mean."

A pause.

"I mean, I knew I liked girls before I got your memories, if that's what you were worried about."

It's so hard to tell which feelings are actually hers when they blend.

"Oh, that's good. Seriously, I do not need a study on how robot romance effects the development of others."

So that's a huge relief. He stares a moment.

"So, uh, you said you remembered Tesla? I know I am a bit biased but what do you think?"

Given that Tesla is totally new to her. A perspective not influenced by others.

Kotoha thinks about that for a few moments, trying her best to separate out the part of her that currently views Tesla as a father figure she's never met in order to give Robo an honest opinion.

"I think I would have enjoyed having a pokemon battle with him."

That might be a bit oblique, but Kotoha is confident Robo has enough of her memories right now to understand that there's no higher compliment she could give.

That's actually not that bad. Robo seems pleased, or as pleased as he can without much of a face.

For a moment, he thinks about how Tesla would handle Pokemon and that maybe it's good their worlds don't bleed together.

"You'd need more ground types."
