[There have been a lot of strange memory-related shenanigans going on in the city lately, and like so many others, Fumi has also been affected. She's had the odd fortune to receive memories from one of the people in Hinoto-Ri with the least similar memories to her own, so the end result is... interesting, to say the least. As the week goes on, the two sets of memories blend and collide in a variety of different ways.]
[Action; Capricorn Ward; May 18th]
[One of the first things that Fumi noticed after the start of the event was the sudden lack of the Bear +Anima that she's sure she's had ever since... well, for as long as she can remember, anyway. She can't quite recall how she awakened the power in the first place, but she does know it's been with her for a very long time and is suddenly gone. When she thinks back, the most obvious change that's happened in her life is joining up with JP's and becoming their network security specialist. The most obvious conclusion is that the spirit has left her out of disdain for all the modern technological trappings she's surrounded herself with.
To that end, Fumi has decided that camping out in the park and communing with nature is the best way to go. She can be found in the middle of the park in the Capricorn Ward, pitching a tent and building a small fire. Unable to leave her hobbies behind entirely, however, she also has a wireless access point set up, and her laptop is sitting on a large flat rock not far away. Oddly, though, she does look almost serene as she works on lighting her campfire.]
[Action; JP's Headquarters; May 21st]
[By this point, everything Fumi has tried from the 'communing with nature' angle has failed. It's getting difficult to concentrate on her studies, but as far as she's concerned the JP's archives are all she has left. She's got about a dozen books down from the stacks, spread out on a long table in front of her as she consults and cross-references information being displayed across several laptop screens. At the same time, her hands seem to be busily at work carving something out of a block of wood.]
[It's almost the end of the event now, though Fumi doesn't know that. Senri's most traumatic memories continually fill her thoughts, and it's nearly impossible for her to concentrate between violent flashes of memory. The attack of the mad bear. The death of her father. Years of abuse as a slave. The confusion and pain before receiving the book and the eye patch. It's all she can do to concentrate on her research - even though she knows these images aren't real, that they don't belong to her, it doesn't make it any easier to deal with them.
Miraculously, though, she's managed to get herself hooked up to an EEG machine, determined to get a read on her brainwaves to see if her mind is being affected directly by whatever it is that's going on. Through some quick and insightful thinking, she's also managed to track the tangle in her destiny strings to its source - which wasn't hard, considering Senri himself was drawn to the JP's building by her memories. He's there too with her, electrodes and wires attached to both of their heads as she keeps a careful eye on the machine's readouts.]
The strings are tangled.
[That's all she says into the camera. It seems that Fumi has also inherited Senri's penchant for brevity. Normally she'd jump at the chance to give a long and laborious explanation of what's going on, but for now she's going for concise. It's just as well, since she seems to be suffering from no small amount of mental and emotional anguish, her hand covering her left eye as she winces sharply.
Even so, she's keeping the camera on, so if anyone wants to speak with either her or Senri, they're available for a chat.]

After entering the headquarters and make her way toward the archives, she comes across the sight of Fumi hard at work.
...The wood carving is new.]
Kanno?
no subject
[She glances up from her books, suddenly noticing what her hands have been busy doing while she's been reading.]
Miyako.
no subject
[Judging from what's going on and the wood carving, Miyako guessed it's related to the memories Fumi received. She glance at the books, briefly skimming whatever titles she can read.]
no subject
Research.
[As if that wasn't obvious. Miyako will notice that all of the books Fumi's looking at are about spirit channeling techniques.]
no subject
Are you trying to channel a specific spirit?
no subject
no subject
You want to channel him for what? [Not the most eloquent way to say things. But the person whose memories Miyako received aren't exactly polite.]
no subject
[Fumi frowns, shaking her head.]

[She seems noticeably confused.]
no subject
...Kanno, do you have any contradictory memories right now?
no subject
Cooro, Husky, and Nana.
[Why aren't they with JP's?]
no subject
[If they're low ranking members, she'd have less reasons to memorise their names.]
no subject
[She smiles a little.]
no subject
The other options is that your memory's affected.
no subject
[Though the memory theory is intriguing, even in this state. Fumi turns her head toward Miyako, tilting it to the side.]
no subject
[From picking up a toy and all the way to how Miyako speaks.]
no subject
[Well, that's frustrating. Fumi goes quiet, brow furrowed.]
no subject
[Not quite how Miyako would normally word it, but it's understandable.]
no subject
[Fumi hasn't completely pieced together who has hers yet, especially since this is the first she's thought of it.]
no subject
[Which is bothersome. Quite so.]
Most likely someone I don't know before this.
no subject
[Judging from her own memories. They're full of people that she only recognizes from the memories themselves.]
no subject
[With a sigh, Miyako looks back at Fumi.]
If you figure out anything, report it.
