The Pleiades, attendants of Artemis and the lost daughters of Atlas, became one with the night sky to comfort their father. Orion, the Great Hunter who was slain by the Scorpion of Artemis, sought to conquer them. However, in his way lies the Great Bull, with it's fiery eye fixated on the Hunter.

[There's a pause, however brief, and his tone shifts to something a little more humanlike.]

Though there are many variations on these myths, it may be wise to also look in to them.

The interrelations of the constellations themselves are almost as complicated as the astronomy trappings mankind has created. It is no wonder many of the constellations are also worshiped as gods.

It is entirely possible that these attacks from the heavens may follow a pattern. It would...not be the only time, after all.

Exactly. For all intents and purposes, all myths and all possibilities must be considered. Man's belief may create a situation in which all, some, or none of those stories are 'true'.

Those who have been brought under the sway of those 'monsters' have been under the guide of Scorpio, and Taurus, respectively. These two constellations have a connection within their stories, and there may be causation within this narrative, intermixed with the astrology side of things.

However, it is also worth noting that mankind's own belief and impact may well be at work here. The power of 'rumors' is strong in this city, and if there is a local superstition tied to the constellations of the zodiac, we 'Visitors' may need to be taught about them.

It is curious that the various wards are named after the zodiac, as well...

The tug and sway of meaning is more powerful than man is often aware of. It is humanity that gives the stars their names, and in doing so 'controls' them. And yet man often believes that such heavenly bodies are truly the ones in control. They give the stars that power through their own hand.

Such is the reality I have always known, and may be at work here as well.

An interesting line of thought, and one more worthy than not of looking in to.

Local belief may be the key to all of this. Should there be 'myths' to the various wards of this city, that too could be a factor that we would otherwise not know. It is a large task to seek so much information, but...
