Shura does NOT switch to voice. Saying she looks unimpressed is an understatement. "There's just boobs and my markings cover them. Does it really bother you that much."

"It's nothing I haven't seen already, but even so, politeness requires me to mention it."

"I'm perfectly comfortable like this, so there is no need to mention it." Then, after a brief pause, "thanks anyway. Who am I speaking to?"

"Nessiah." A bit of a sigh. "And you would be?"

"Shura. Another being ripped from her universe to serve in this here goddamned mess. I'm guessing it's the same for you?"

"Though I wouldn't phrase it in quite the same manner, you're correct."

"You're not mad to be here? Honestly, I'm boiling inside."

"Any particular reason?"

Nessiah had meant all the swearing, but, oh well.

"I was accomplishing something in my world! I was attacking the problem of the Great Will's dictatorship at the root, and I was so close to succeeding, but then I get pulled here by this wiseass in a butterfly mask to be used in some stupid rescue mission like I was free to be hired and removed from my world and the ones I swore to protect! It's a waste of my precious time and theirs!"

Not that she can see, but he's nodding along. "I can understand that feeling."

Shura nods too when he agrees. "Yeah, see? I bet you had goals and a purpose at home too. I heard we can go back, but I don't know how. The elders didn't tell us, of course, and I'm not really good at inter-universe travel. Any ideas?"

"Sadly none." A sigh. "It is a shame - I was at an important step of my plans back home when this interrupted."

"See? They got no consideration whatsoever for us, these assholes." She sighed. "Anyway, thanks. I'll let you know if I find anything."

"Likewise - well met, Shura."

Nessiah clicks off his side of the conversation without further farewell.

What else would you do? Furnish that house with guts!

[Behind him one can see his own room, lightly 'decorated' already with a vending machine.]

A man - or a lady in this case - should treat their home like a castle!

"When you say 'furnish with guts', I dare hope that you don't mean that literally." Because she knows demons who would.

Well Gunha hadn't been planning to use real guts, just guts from ~the soul~ but to him guts were guts no matter what the source. That's why, without hesitation, he replied;

"Yeah, you bet I do."

But he quickly adds;

"Though not with bloody body guts, obviously. That'd be a little weird, and a bit warped."

"Yeah, that would be. Honestly though, I don't plan on staying. I was doing something far more important back home. They need me more than this world does..."

"I guess I'm lucky that I was in the middle of training my guts when I got here."

He's not bragging, but there is a certain sense of pride in his voice for some reason. Probably because he's a moron.

"Are you really the kind of person who can just leave a group of people who ask for her help? If so then I'm sure you'll have no problems getting home, but you should look out some guts when you get back to wherever you came from."

Because not wanting to help people must be because she has no guts. He doesn't have any malice in his voice, though, it's a tone similar to one an agony aunt might have while answering a problem.

That hits a tender spot with Shura, who has often declared back in her world that her incommensurable strength should be used to protect the weak (as opposed to crushing them like so many in her world love to do).

"I have plenty of guts! I just... I feel what I was doing at home is more important? Here, there is an army! Over there... I'm alone." Not really alone, but without her, the Manikins would have no one to turn to.

"Ah, now those are some sad guts..." Gunha thinks carefully about that. Being alone can't be too good at all; he sometimes - very rarely - feels alone in terms of people who are as strong as he is, and recently he met someone far stronger than him. He wouldn't change that meeting for all the guts in the world. Yep being alone has gotta suck.

"...Being alone just means you haven't found someone who can stand on your level, yet. Give a man some guts and he'll fight for a day, but teach a man to have guts and he'll fight for a lifetime."

Shura might have worked out that guts are basically his go to noun for all occasions, it's not like it's hard to spot.

Shura thinks for a minute about what the boy said. It's true that Futomimi was no weakling... and Dante might be able to hold the fort. Probably. But mostly there was the fact that Futomimi was a charismatic leader, the one who inspired her to swear to defend them and to destroy the very source of injustice in the world, the woman who had taught Shura to have guts, in a way. Yes. She had guts too. Things would be all right, even in the supposedly unlikely case that time advanced while she was gone.

"... I guess I could help out..."

"Now we're talkin', girl!!!" The audio feed actually crackles due to the volume of Gunha's shouting; he's clearly very impressed by this girl.

"We should be friends. Then you wont be alone here, at least. We should have a little fight at some point, too."

Shura chuckles a little at the guy's enthusiasm and self-confidence. Had he been a demon, she would have recruited him for sure "All right. If we're gonna be friends, then you can call me Shura. I look forward to fighting you eventually."

"And you can call me Gunha, or Sogiita, or whatever you want."

He nods his head dramatically. Can you feel the social link, Shura? Can you feel it?

"So, what are you gonna do now? Any ideas?"

"All right. Gunha. Since it looks like I'm staying, and since my sleep was rudely interrupted by my being brought here, I think I'll get some well-deserved sleep and see what tomorrow brings my way. And you?"

"I'll go and see if anyone needs my help; or I'll hit the streets and start patrolling the area, stuff like that." Gunha doesn't really have many priorities in life right now other than ~training his guts~ so he's not too thrown off but this whole thing "I might take a quick run around and see if anyone from Academy City has wound up here. They'll probably be glad to see a level 5 around."

"Say, where are you staying right now, missy?"

"That's a great idea." The people here needed strong people like Gunha around, if all she had heard was true.

"I live in Pisces. 9-03."

"Well I have no idea where that is, but if I ever have some time then I'll swing by and visit you. I'm in Libra something or other eight."

If Gunha had any sense then he would be somewhat wary of getting into trouble with the law likle he had back home. Turns out punching a delinquent with your special move ten times in a row isn't quite self defense in their eyes. But the guy literally asked for it, so what can you do?

"You'd be fine with that, right?"

Well okay, maybe his moves need a little push in the right direction but still!

"That's all right by me! Just, y'know, knock first an' all."

[Raidou glances over]

Those markings...

[The green glows exactly like the MAG he uses to summon demons, and well - she does have the characteristic gold eyes]

She blinked in surprise. "You know about my markings?"

"I haven't seen anything exactly like those..." Raidou started. "But I recognize the glow of Magentite."

"What's Magnetite?" Oh dear, a demon who doesn't know about MAG.

He pauses - then again, different worlds. "It might go under a different name, but it is the energy Demons need to manifest and use power in the power." Thinking quickly, he removes a summoning tube, and with a flick of his hand a green glow shoots out and arcs around Raidou.

The glow soon changed into a fey knight in leaf-green armor. "Like this."

Shura's eyes went wide at his little display. "Wow, so cool! You can summon demons? Me too! ... I think. I haven't tried in this world. I come from a world of demons, though, so I didn't really need special energy to summon them back there..."

Take it wherever you're from, you don't wear a shirt.

"I don't. I feel comfortable this way. They're boobs, nothing special."

"A lot of guys as see it as pretty special, believe me."

Lucky for Michel, this deflates Shura's annoyance by half by focusing her on something else. "Well then, look all you can. I don't plan on staying here long. This whole world-saving Persona thing is weird."
