Ah. And without that knowledge, it feels like something's missing.

[That makes sense. It's why the archaeologists are so devoted and so important - nobody knows what the heck happened to the world so long ago. That's about as distressing as one might think, for such a big chunk of the world's past to go missing like that.]

Exactly. I don't know who I am, because I don't know what I'm really like offline. What if I'm totally different? What happens to the 'me' that's here now?
