[The COMP turns on to show Yukiko looking less than specatular; she's been letting out some pent up frustration on some monsters around the Virgo District and she may have bitten off more than she could chew. Needless to say, there is a beaten up and bloodied priestess on the network.]

I'm sorry...but if anyone was wondering where I've...been...I'm okay. Just a little...

[She stops and the device falls from her hand, landing on the ground. Not even a second after that, she too collapses and blacks out. The feed is still going but Yukiko isn't moving an inch. Someone might wanna stop by Virgo before the monsters see her.]

Shepard makes her way over to Virgo, not about to let a kid she's watching over get hurt.]

Yukiko? [ She hadn't seen her best friend that night, Chie had been out for a late night jog and then straight to take a shower. She never would have imagined that she would be in danger. ]

Yukiko! Are you alright?! Where are you!? YUKIKO?!

[ Chie is not even a little calm, she is properly freaked out. Her best friend is injured somewhere and she will find her or die trying. ]

It takes Desco no time at all to fly over to the Virgo district and find Yukiko. She chuckles softly to herself as she allows her tentacles to float free and take up a position on a nearby rooftop, overlooking the area while her child body hides inside a convenient cardboard box.

This is going to be the best ambush ever.

Naturally, an unconscious girl in the middle of the street quickly attracts unsavory attention. As the three robots approach Yukiko, Desco licks her lips and throws off the cardboard box.

She had a speech ready, but these are robots! Seriously, who would make a dramatic speech to their food? For now, her tentacles are still floating back down towards her, so she can't use her personal skills - she'll just summon Dragonlord and fire off a Maragi.

[She's awake and safe in her room at the inn thanks to those who brought her back there. Maybe it's time to ask her why she was out in the first place...]

[ Chie should be mad. She should be angry with Yukiko and telling her that going out alone is dangerous. She should be scolding the other girl and teaching her why it was not okay what she did.

But all that she gets is Chie crying and hugging her. ]

The Pantheons get struck by a wave of fire, but that doesn't seem enough to disable them entirely. Their bodies wrack with electric sparks from overheating, yet they still advance in a shuddering motion.

But not for long. "Kouha!!"

A ball of rainbow light smacks one of them right in the back, flinching it before it bursts apart. The other two strain themselves to turn in choppy motion and see their new attacker, but it's already too late. A flash of red and yellow moving in extreme velocity follows with a joining of green, a downward motion to strike one and a spin of light driving into the other. The stranger in red and black jumps out of the way before they explode in place from their internal systems cut apart, landing near the two with a hand on the ground and still in a combative stance with his Z-Saber in the other to guard them.

"Damnit, they keep coming..." He speaks almost monotone, but the annoyance clearly shows through his tone. He turns over to the fallen girl when he realizes her condition, checking in on her with a somewhat rough prod of a hand on her shoulder as he bends down. "Oy, hang in there!" Hopefully there aren't any more around in the immediate area to bother them, are there?

[A solitary figure sits next to the door leading out of the Inn, their head tilted down and their eyes closed as they lean on one knee. He hears footsteps nearing him, but he doesn't open his eyes or lift his head to address whoever they might be. Instead, he asks towards their direction, a trace of concern laced over his otherwise neutral voice:]

[Don't cry bestie, it'll be ok. And that hug? it kind of sent Yukiko back onto her futon. Not expecting that.]

By now, Desco's tentacles have reunited with her, so instead of running she's flying towards the scene, Dragonlord trailing behind her.

It doesn't take her long to get there now that she's no longer relying on her fairly unimpressive footspeed, and the first thing she does is frantically scrabble through the remains of the robots, stuffing the largest pieces into her drooling tentacle maws.

She sighs in bliss as she waves her arms around, scanning the area with the eyes set on the back of her hands.

"Are there more of them? Desco is still hungry!"

The fallen girl seems alive, though unconscious. He doesn't like the sight of blood on her. Where to take her to? His eyes spot the COMP device nearby and picks it up, deciding to check it non-intrusively before shutting it off and putting it back on her person. Feeling the passcard in the process, he takes it out to look at it. "... Amagi Inn, huh?" ... Ugh, Zero thinks to himself while putting it back. That's two Wards away. This will be a problem. Caduceus is closer, though it might be better off to wait either way until the hour is over before taking her over. But her condition...

Upon hearing the new voice, Zero rises to his feet to look at the source, likely to be the one that initially attacked the Pantheons. "..." If Reploids could visibly sweatdrop, now would be a perfect time for it. "I think the more important goal is to get this girl to safety, not satisfying your hunger." He doesn't know what to make of this being in front of him, gobbling up the robot pieces like it was an all-you-can-eat metal-parts-bar. The questions would have to wait though: the back line of the group arrived, three shooters. Great, Zero grimaced.

The blonde-haired Reploid took the Z-Saber in his hand and locked the hilt into a small protrusion on his forearm, making sure it was set in place before spinning it, holding his arm out to project a large plasma shield from the momentum. It was too dangerous to transport her right now, but...

"If it's a feast you want, there's some more." He took out his Buster Shot, aiming it at the Hunters' heads and firing off a few shots to halt their advances, weakening them in the process.

Desco grins broadly at the sight of the reinforcements, running her tongue over her shark-like teeth. Behind her, one of her tentacles finishes chewing and swallows, causing a shiver of pleasure to run through her body.

"They will all fall before the might of the Final Boss! Desco is a battle vixen!"

With that, she flies toward them at top speed, directing Dragonlord to unleash a Twin Shot on the closest one, angling the paired blows to smash the robot into the pavement.

I feel like I should though.

[She worried everyone she bets. Next thing they'd know, Kanji would come piling in yelling.]

The one Desco targeted attempts to take aim, but doesn't even bring the arm to height in time before it gets flattened, Goomba-style, by the first attack, and then pressed into itself like layered tinfoil by the second.

Meanwhile, one of them attempts to attack Desco by firing a number of round, yellow plasma bullet shots. Paying attention still, oh battle vixen?

The other remaining one demonstrates their (lack of) A.I. too well: They fire their own shots towards Zero, but with his Shield Boomerang still active, the shots bounce right back and hurt the Pantheon even more. Still, it remains standing.

Zero decides not to attack for now while he has that one occupied with defeating itself, but to instead scan his surroundings for a possible route out of the area. More are in one direction, that's a problem. Enough of a problem that he's distracted by them, not noticing a stray Hunter take aim some distance behind him.
