Heeeey, is this thing even on? How am I supposed to even tell if it's on?

Listen up! I have a question I totally need answered.

Has anyone ever seen two copies of people? Like, there's one, who knows everything you know, and then another who doesn't?

[ Chie's not exactly a wordsmith, she's better at kicking people. ]

Oh, and does anyone know where I can get the best steak in the city? This is very important, I haven't had anything as good as Aiya's beef bowl since I got here!

So.. what do you guys do? How does being the same person even work?

There's two versions of my friends running around I guess, but from different worlds? I didn't even think that was a real thing until a little while ago.

But if she thinks about it, it's a little bit awkward to be giving a friend advice on what to wear on a date with the alternate timeline version of her ex semi-boyfriend.

Just pick something that makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself! I mean...

[she lowers her own voice to a conspiratorial whisper too.]

He's always wearing that scarf! I don't think fashion is his big priority.

[ Yikes, if Chie actually knew that there's no way she would have say yes! Dating a friends ex is totally not okay, usually, given a one Universe scenario. ]

I don't know, I guess time travel or something! I saw some movies like it once, but I didn't really pay attention enough..

[ Because in her mind it all would be solved if Chie had watched more movies on the subject of alternate worlds and the like. ]

[Although it's awkward no matter what, if asked, Minako would've been okay with it even if it were the Ryoji from her universe. The circumstances are convoluted, but she'd made her choice of who to stick with, and she definitely thinks that Ryoji deserves to be a happy, normal teenager.]

[ Dating is a thing girls all do, Chie's not completely out of touch with her femininity. And knowing that Minako knows the boy and even gave Chie her blessing she worries less about him being a disaster and more that she'll screw it up some how. ]
