Hey guys, I think we may have our first real task here. I'm sure you've seen the graffiti all over the place, right? I think if we take time out to go and help clean that up, then it'll look good in the eyes of the public. If we can work together with some of the natives too, that'll help us get to know them better. So I hope your scrubbing arms are prepared! Let's go out there and make a difference.

But for the love of God take photos of the graffiti. Maybe it's just Anoli trolling, but I want to at least try to figure out what they're trying to tell us so bluntly. I know we don't trust them, but we can't just ignore them either. It could be a warning, for all we know. It's probably just propaganda, but I want to keep it on our records just in case.

If you don't trust them then why care about what they're saying or what warning they have to offer?

I don't trust their motives. Their message, however, may have kernels of truth, much like anything does. And if they're warning of another attack, that's kind of significant.

It's worth noting I needed to say that specifically to reassure some of the more pro-government forces in my group. I myself don't know much about the Anoli aside from the fact they hurt a lot of friends of mine, which makes me somewhat disinclined to like them much.

The COMPs take pictures, right? I'll be out there this afternoon, but I want to make sure I don't need to get a little camera or anything...

Bring one just in case. I don't want any photos lost to a convenient 'COMP error.' You can take some with the COMP, but take backups with the other.

I suppose that's fair. I don't know much about them myself, however, I recommend finding out what you can. Rarely are such things as simple as 'the good guys' and 'the bad guys.'

They wouldn't do this if they weren't trying to say something.

I'll get one of those disposable cameras and at least grab the one I saw this morning. Already recorded it with my COMP, and I don't think there's anything that can harm the local hard drive, but it never hurts to be sure.

Seeing every point of view is kinda part of the job description.

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe we could work in groups or something?

Oh, but do you know where they all are? I've only seen the one on the statue...

That's what I'm thinking. Just because they're not OUR side doesn't mean they don't have anything we should be paying attention to, regardless of what the official spin is.

That could definitely work! I'd hate for someone to have to clean up all of it by themselves. We should get to organizing those.

I can ask *Hyun-ae about all the spotted incidents. She should be able to get me that information pretty quickly, I think.

Neither side ever gives the full story, so you have to look at both, right?

Exactly. It's amazing how many people don't see that.

That's because it's so much easier to just see the faults of the side you aren't on. And it's very, very hard not to choose a side.
