Is it? I thought they were rather behind in terms of technology, which is why I wished to believe that they did not employ the Colonies' ways of mass producing food or even creating items. I do not think they have the ability to do so here, in any case. But it does require some thought.

How do they get this much fresh food? Where do they get all of these raw materials? Where does the power come from? Recycling? Everything can be recycled for materials and food, but as you said, there are no factories for such a thing.

I wonder... perhaps there is a fantastical reason for it. It is something I have observed in some, ah, what are they called, shows? Suspension of disbelief! So long as you do not acknowledge that it is an impossibility, it will happen. So, if we do not acknowledge the impossibility of there being enough food, there will continue to be enough food.

Haven't there been events within the city that utilised such a thing? Rumours, was it?
