Things are exciting here. More and more exciting. There is even a tournament! I have never participated in one before - it is a friendly contest thing, yes? I cannot wait to see how everyone performs. The aim is to win, so everyone will be fighting to the best of their ability, to beyond their very limits, otherwise the win is tainted, yes?

There is a question to be asked.

Hatred and Love is viewed in equal measure. Humans normally say love is worth more. In recent months, I have seen media that espouses that love will always succeed over hatred. Hatred is inferior. It sustains only the self, but it is like poison also. Pure intentions become twisted, revenge distorts the mind and morals, and eventually hatred destroys the individual...

I must admit, this confuses me. I have observed no such things in humanity before. Ah, the corruption, yes, but hatred has sustained and protected humans as much as it has poisoned them. It is usually love that brings about self-destruction, as they hold another's life higher than their own.

So, I have always viewed hatred and love being of equal measure. They are different, yet powerful in their own right. It is like that saying, what, pears and lemons? Apples and peaches? Whatever.

So my question is thus: what do you think is more powerful or more important? Hatred or Love?

No one wants to be told they lack intelligence. But it's all right. I understand that my refusal to give up my goal can be seen as stupid.

I see stupidity as something to be favoured. The intelligent normally give up when they calculate the odds to be greatly against them. A truly stupid person will continue to throw themselves against the unmovable brick wall to live. That is admirable.

It is merely something that bothers me from time to time. I enjoy the contrary nature of humanity. You know this, so I feel no need to elaborate on it lest I go off on a tangent, however...

However. That is only myself. Cast from the same rock, other shards think of it in different ways. Although different, the source is the same, such as hate and love is from the same source, even if it is vastly different from a glance... so do their impressions echo my own? Simply assigned to different thoughts, but of the same rock...

I understand that much but, I still wish to understand each individual. To know of their motivations and reasons and thoughts and emotions. It is probably too... impossible.

But it is a human-like dream! That is...what I wish for. Isn't it. Yes. I wish to grasp onto the elusiveness of the contrary nature of humanity. To have impossible dreams, and achieve them through miracles born of human stupidity and perseverance, to have complex, impulsive actions born from emotion.

oh yes of course. close observations and forced scenarios are required to gather all data on it. it is nice to meet a fellow observer :)

No, that has never happened in our Empire. We welcome all races and religions as long as they work towards the Greater Good.

I don't think it's as easy to say one is superior to the other; both are a powerful drive in their own right. There is a balance to things like that.

But in the end I think love is what should be striven for in life. Without caring for others there is no way to discover the truly important things.

Although soldiers are a necessity, I am afraid I have a bias against them. I apologise if I expect you to do some things that you otherwise wouldn't.

That is not what I am saying. I am a god and still no closer to my goal of humanity.

I am being confusing, but I cannot explain it myself. It is subconscious knowledge, information that resides in the soul but not of the conscience. How does one explain that? I am not entirely sure myself. But it is unimportant now. Perhaps, in my world, it was, but here it is not, as I am separated from certain factors that would make it an importance.

[Anant rubs their head, a small grumbling noise emitting from behind their mask]

A...slightly smaller scale? Do you mean only trying to understand individual cultures of humans? That small?

And what important things are those? Love and Hatred help to forge one's path to their dreams, which I always presumed to hold topmost priority in importance.

If your dream can be accomplished by Hate, then why bother with Love? Of course this is under the presumption that they are two different emotions, when in fact that are almost one singular emotion.

I think that's different for everyone and yet the same. [After all... most people had someone they treasured dearly... right?]

I wouldn't say they a one emotion. Rather, they are two sides of the same coin. And hate... it's consuming. It twists and wraps you until you forget what you meant to accomplish in first place and in the end all that's left behind if are feelings of hollowness and regret.

Think smaller. Like individuals. Every human, a single jigsaw puzzle. I assure you that you'll NEVER get bored working on it like that.

I know exactly what you mean! Human words are so limited in their scope. I mean, there's really no adequate way to describe the supple beauty of my skin apart from 'divine', and honestly, that applies to me on a whole.

Look, whatever it is you're going through, I bet some god, somewhere, has thought the same thing. Maybe even I have. You don't have to deal with it all alone, so... chin up!

That's a good question, though. I think it comes back to what I said, which is that it's just like that in my experiences. Some hated the world and wished it to be destroyed, while others loved the world and the people in it, and didn't want harm to come to it. In the end, the ones who loved the world saved it.
