[ Late Friday morning, Minato manages to coordinate his sluggish movements enough to start a video feed on his COMP. He'd honestly rather just ask this by text, but he's having difficulty focusing enough to type, and video is easier. He's looking pretty pallid, though his cheeks are flushed with fever and his eyes are a bit glazed, as he sniffs and shivers and blinks blearily at the camera. ]

Anyone know where to go to see a doctor? [ His voice is very froggy, and although he opens his mouth to say something else, he breaks off with a cough, and he turns the COMP away while he recovers, muffling his coughs into the crook of his elbow. ]

Ah... sorry. I also... wanted to know if the doctors here made house calls...

[ It's cold outside, and he has a fever and doesn't relish the thought of stumbling to a clinic on the other side of the city. ]

Considering your condition, I certainly hope you'll be.

[Not so that she can play doctor or nurse or brag about sneaking into his room or whatever. But just cause his health is far more important to her than other matters.

[Oh, Minato... Don't say things that make her want to hug him and never leave his apartment. She compromises with just the first part. She flops down on the bed beside him and wraps her arms around him tightly, resting her chin on his chest.]

You don't have to worry about that ever again.

[ He shifts a little, wrapping his arms loosely around her, happy to have her there. ... but he doesn't say anything particularly coherent - makes some mumble, and he'll probably be falling back asleep again soon. He's probably very warm to the touch. ]

[That's all right. He may be sleepy, and sick, and saying things he might have filtered out otherwise... but he's here, and she's here, and right now she can hear his heartbeat starting to lull her to sleep herself.

Maybe tomorrow she'll wind up sick herself. She thinks it's worth the risk, for a moment like this.]

Okay... [ He sniffs. ] Do you deliver or should I ask someone to pick it up?

[ Because he's not sure he trusts himself to actually find his way anywhere, right now. ]

He blinks, smile fading a little as is slowly sinks in that maybe he said too much. So he just shrugs. ]

[ He shakes his head and -- watches Akihiko with a little surprise. But it's a nice kind of surprise. He's glad he doesn't have to really hover, so he slumps back over to the couch, assuming things will be in good hands. ]

[ When she knocks, he's curled up on the couch, almost asleep again. There's something or other playing on the TV, but it's pretty quiet, so he hears the sound of his name and wakes up enough to lift his head a bit, looking over at the door. ]

Come in-- [ Or at least he tries to call that, but he breaks off, coughing. ]

... it's okay. [ He starts to say something else but breaks off into coughing. When he recovers, he looks apologetic. ] Ah, sorry...

No, it's my fault. I shouldn't be keeping you up like this when you should be resting.

[Ah, maybe she shouldn't have knocked at all. It just seemed like the polite thing to do.

Quietly, she opens the door to slip inside and close it, carrying a small plastic bag with some soup inside. She might not be good at cooking herself, but it seemed to her to be unfair to not bring something along for him.]

Arisato, did I wake you?

[ He shakes his head; it's not exactly a lie, after all. And then he slowly sits up to watch her. ]

It was 2012 when I came here, so that makes sense. The time thing is so weird here, I've got friends still from 2011 and friends a month ahead of me or so.

[It was still cool finding someone from Iwatodai around, his friends weren't the only ones from their world then. That was a kind of weird and even kind of comforting thought.]

You should probably rest your throat though. God knows I hate talking to a lot of people when my throat hurts and I've got a cold. I'll see you around?

It's not a problem. How are you feeling?

[ He watches her, though he doesn't reach for a spoon just yet, as he's still sort of waking up. ]

How're you?

I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me. Catching a cold isn't on my agenda.

[A light attempt at some humour and she nods toward the soup.] It's chicken soup. I'm told that that specific flavour is best for colds and a favourite. You should have some before it gets cold.
