According to the news report that recently went out, we will be allowed to participate in the Grand Prix, correct? I'm interested in joining the competition, but to do that I would need to practice first. I still haven't awakened my... Persona yet, so I will have to rely on my own abilities instead.

[She continues without even missing a beat, completely glossing over that small stumble. She's obviously used to speaking publicly.]

I will be in the Capricorn district, so if anyone is willing to be a sparring partner, I would be extremely grateful.

[A small pause here. She can practically hear half of her friends from home scolding her for this, but...]

I also have noticed that I am exempt from curfews due to being a visitor. I was thinking of patrolling at night - does anyone have advice for dealing with the demons at that time? There was a... similar situation where I come from, so I would like to do what I can to help here as well.

[And sure enough, Aoi is indeed in the Capricorn district, dressed in a hakama and armed with a naginata. With no current sparring partner, she is instead practicing strikes on an invisible opponent. She definitely has the technique down, if nothing else.]

Thank you. It's nice to meet you too, Arisato. I've been told a little about Personas, but I still don't understand them completely. I know we're supposed to "awaken" them somehow, but I never learned the method.

You might be able to awaken it at the tournament, however. I don't think you should worry too much yet.

As for how to awaken them... usually they'll awaken in a time of stress and danger. Their primary purpose is to protect you.

[ She tries not to be embarrassed and tries not to notice the surprise but. It is hard. ]

That's probably a good idea. This place is... similar to the city I come from, but in many ways it's very different. It will definitely take some getting used to.

I was also told they are similar to guardians. In that case... Would something like a fight be enough to awaken one? [Not that she'd blindly rush into things just for the sake of awakening her persona, but it'd be nice to know.]

There's all sorts of supernatural stuff in Hinoto-Ri. It's nothing that'll stand out.

Huh? Oh, some demons are just...immune to physical attacks.

[It's... only a slight relief to hear that, considering the other supernatural things consist of demons as well. But she does give a small, quick smile of gratitude before addressing the last part.]

Yep. Not just physical attacks, either. Some are immune to fire, ice, wind...you name it, there's something with an immunity to it out there somewhere. Some even absorb or reflect attacks of one type.

SORCERY!

[ Garviel booms, stopping all motion and looking incredibly angry. ]

So even if one tactic works on one demon, it's not guaranteed to work on all of them.

[...That could easily be applied to the demons at home as well, but not quite to that extent.]

Do these personas allow you to use the elements to attack as well, then?

We could meet in Virgo. Shouldn't be too long a trip, with how people get around in this city.

Sorcer- [Well, that's a way of putting it. She does however give a small shake of the head. Her voice remains calm; maybe if she can keep her cool, this man will be able to relax as well?]
