I know I'm a little late, but there's a special way we celebrate the new year in my world. { Garnet is smiling and rosy-cheeked today. There is a very fuzzy scarf around her neck, which is, unfortunately, tickling her cheeks. She reaches up to scratch one, only succeeding in making herself look rosier. }
Close your eyes and think about last year. Remember all the friends you made, all the trials you overcame and those...you may have lost. { Her voice wobbles. } Hold those memories close to your heart and then...let them go. Imagine them flying up into the heavens like so many birds and let yourself have a clean slate.
You can make this year into anything you want, I know it. Good luck.
