You do something incredibly stupid and moronic that defies common sense and logic to solve a large problem, and survive.
[Link's typing is getting better, and someone else is actually bothering to use this thing for once.]
you step up and do what you are able in the face of a challenge. a lot of people where i come from would add that you do it no matter the odds or chance of survival, however. while i admire their courage, i do feel that thinking like that is more than a bit foolhardy. such determination would be put to better use if they put in some thought before they charged in, and lived through it.

Yes, well, the ones that get labeled as 'heroes' where I come from are generally daft and do some of the most insane things I've seen.
then you are a few steps ahead of quite a few fellows i have met.
i do agree on the sometimes, though. i have charged in blindly more than a few times myself, and thankfully survived it.

a hero's someone who changes stuff for the better, duh!
[She knows a thing or two about heroes, a-yup. But not about proper sleeping times.]

A hero is someone who does all they can to save the lives of innocents and protect the peace. A hero doesn't need super powers; to me, heroes are doctors and nurses and police officers, people like that.
like in story books?
((oh hey, he figured out how to put in letters! ....his replies will be slow as all else; he's not used to typing in the first place, let alone with so few, and large, fingers. But at least he's playing more with his watch and figuring out the network?
....also, the time of day? Pfff. He's up when he's up; he assumes most others are too. :3 ))

Sacrifice. And a willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve your goals.
OOC: If you'd rather I not use Homestuck quirks, just let me know!

Yes, but that doesn't excuse them from doing it in a stupid manner.
Then they'd need to redeem themselves, wouldn't they?
