[Yes, it's late at night/early in the morning. Link's up anyway.]

i have a question.

what does it mean to you to be a hero?

[Look, his typing is getting better!]

[Cloche has to fight the urge to correct Link's grammar... but, from the way he writes, he seems very young. ... she'll just leave it be.]

Politics are, in essence, the actions, beliefs, and practices of governmental officials. They are often very complicated.

It may be complicated, but government is an important aspect of civilization! If there were no government in Hinoto-Ri, none of the Guests would have a place to live.

[ Minato debates switching to just locking the text to Link, but... it's hard enough to admit what he's about to say already. He finds it easier if he continues to leave no name attached. ]

There's nothing wrong with that.

I helped save my world too, and afterwards no one remembered for a while. I was happy that everyone was okay, but when no one knows what you've done, it can be sad.

I'm sure the concept is basically the same.

To me, that sounds less like being a hero and more like being a god.

What makes heroes admirable is that they are mortal. They feel everything everyone else feels, but persevere on despite. They prove that bravery is not the absence of fear, but rather the overcoming of it, and likewise, true strength is the overcoming of what was once weakness.

Personally, I would rather have a hero that understands fear and weakness to one that does not.

I don't know the details, but The World was different afterwards. The twilight of that world came and went.

To be born, sometimes something must die, first.

That may work for small settlements, but for countries and cities it just wouldn't work.

im not sure if that matters
a hero can be whatever
trying to be a certain type of person all the type to fit an idea of something sounds difficult
probably debilitating
ive known people that have tried to fit the definition of something
all the time
it does not tend to work
i think a hero just needs to do something heroic
other things dont matter
