1/2 action! does he even realize the can of worms he just yanked open

[No.

No no no no no why?

That's not what was supposed to happen. That's not how it was supposed to go. Mother had not brought the Fall?

It's the only disconnected string of thoughts he can come up with at first, and he sits there, struggling with it.

Humans were the ones responsible for the Fall, humans sought their own despair, humans were selfish and uncaring. It was their own despair, bitter nilhism and want for destruction had awoken Her, and caused Her to chose to grant their wish.

They did awful things to themselves and to others, and as much as Pharos honestly likes them and was saddened by their ruinous hunger for self-destruction, he was aware the world in general would be so much better off without them. If they all quietly slipped into the eternal sleep, they could never harm each another again. They could never suffer, be hurt or lonely, or feel sorrow or loss or wage needless warsーnothing bad would ever happen to anyone, since there would be no one for it to happen to. The humans would return to their origin. There would be silence. Cessation of movement, the quiet of night. Peace.

Mankind in their dimension no longer took pleasure from life and the problem had grown worse with time. It would be kinder to let them die, the only mercy that could be afforded to them. Humanity wanted to die. They deserved to die.

The least they could have done was make it quick.

It wasn't like everything would have ended with the coming of the Fall; the potential for life would always remain in the universe. Once given, it was impossible to take away.
