"Fewer harmful monsters means the civilian population is safer, a safer civilian population is more likely to embrace you as one of their own. It also provides training in dealing with threats that are common to this world and it may possibly carry over to your own world. Its not a perfect idea, but it does aid the greater whole more than doing nothing."
