[ The feed clicks on, showing one Integra Hellsing sitting in what... would appear to be her apartment. She doesn't seem to be quite as roughed up as she had been when she first arrived; granted, she's bruised and scraped up, but she looks overall better.

She's sipping at a small cup of tea; it certainly isn't what Walter, her poor, dear lost Walter would have made, but this is something she'll have to get used to regardless. ]

I suppose it's about time that I get around to introducing myself. My name is Sir Integra Hellsing. I come from England, and before anyone questions the 'Sir', I am a knight under Her Majesty the Queen. Like I have heard a few others state, I, too, am a hunter of monsters.

[ She lights up a cigar, her neutral mask never slipping. This is her last one... she's going to have to go out and find something similar, much to her horror. ]

I'm not going to ask if anyone from my own home world has arrived. I believe I already know the answer to that. Instead, I want to offer something. Protection, you could say, from things that go bump in the night... if I am to be stuck here for however long, then it is my duty to offer as much protection to all of you as I possibly can give. If the time or need arises, don't hesitate to contact me.

[That wasn't a word he'd been expecting to hear. Sure, he'd heard of the person who'd made Hellsing, but he'd never met them himself; just Ianto who'd, apparently, taken it over.]

I did. Dare I ask who you are?

[ The heiress arches a brow, moving to take a long, calming drag off her beloved cancer stick. ]

Locke Cole. Don't think you know me. Do you run a...organization that protects people from supernatural threats?

[It was perfectly possible the decision to open such a place was made after the other Integra arrived in Bete Noire, but there was a chance it was just a continuation. He'd never really asked.

You are correct, I've got not a clue as to who you are. That name does not sound familiar.

[ Integra blinks, and then her eyes narrow slightly. She leans back in her seat, and the light catches the lenses of her glasses enough to where it casts an eerie glare across them, hiding her gaze. ]

I do. How did you know about that, Mr. Cole?

[He hesitates a moment, this subject was always tricky, but he's relieved to know it, either way.]

This...might sound funny, but I promise I'm not lying to you. This isn't the first world I've been to, this is the third, actually. The one I came from before, the one I was pulled from, it was a city called Bete Noire.

There was a Hellsing group there too; apparently, started by a different version of you a long time ago. I worked for it.

[ Her expression doesn't change, except for the way a brow arches up ever so slightly. ]

Considering everything, that isn't all that hard to believe, really. Well, I suppose that explains that. It's a good thing to know, assuming I decide to do the very same thing here.

I got used to it, and there's nothing really similar here. Plus, I've still got my I.D.

Considering some of the stories I've heard, more than likely once I get my bearings, I will probably do just that. Thank you.

[ She finishes her cigar, peering at it for a brief moment -- it is her last, after all -- and finally she snubs it out in an ashtray. ]

Thank you. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in due time. This is... most certainly one of the oddest things that has ever happened to me. And I can honestly say I have been through many odd situations.

A girl with an equally neutral face appears.

"If its not too much to ask, are you related in any way to Abraham Van Helsing?"

A blonde brow arches up, and Integra leans back in her seat, somewhat amused. Well, this one's a smart one... that's good.

"Yes. Doctor van Helsing was my grandfather. That was a very good guess, my dear."

"I read a story with him in it when I was a little girl. It was one of the few literary works I was exposed to that weren't mathematical or scientific in nature. Grandfather, does that mean you are from the late 20th century?"

"Would that story happen to be Dracula?" she asked nonchalantly, taking another sip of her tea. "I am from the year 1999... my grandfather has been dead for quite some time."

"Yes, that would be the story. Given your comment about monster hunting I figured the odds of there being a link were highly probable."

"Yes, you were correct in assuming such. The monsters I hunt are ghouls and demons... but my specialty is the vampire."

"I have virtually no data on any such creatures, but at least the demons seem to be very common place here so I've had Omoikane record data on them when possible."

"Oh. I'm Ruri. Hoshino Ruri. Captain of the Battleship Nadesico."

"Is that so?" THAT was a lovely bit of information. No vampires... that was a good thing, of course, considering where she had just come from. Not that it would give her any time to relax, naturally; the place seemed to be filled with demons.

"Well, it is a pleasure to meet you, Captain."

"That being said, I only have maybe a few months of experience here and most of it has been analyzing and trying to infiltrate the data networks here to get reliable information. I find it better to handle one's specializations before trying to branch out into what was in one's own time and place completely theoretical. Still, if you need data analysis or anything of that nature please feel free to ask."

"Thank you, that's good to know, indeed," she quipped with a chuckle. "I may very well need that in the near future. I will remember that."

"Also, if you plan to mount an expedition to the castle on the mountain that appears at the 13th hour, let me know. I'd like to plant some data gathering tools there and the area has been so far classified as off limits."

"I will let you know, then. Perhaps we can do that in the near future, hm?"

"Perhaps, still it may be best to get acclimated to this place first. I just know that what I have seen of the other monster hunters here that tends to happen much quicker with that group."

"I see. I will keep that in mind."
