But an official post merits looking her best and using video! ... and broadcasting from Lady Cloche's stuffed animal-filled room, instead of her Dive Machine-filled room.]

Hi, Hinoto-Ri! [She sits neatly on the bed, hands folded demurely in her lap.] My name is Luca. Luca Trulyworth. I've spoken to a few of you, but, eheh... it never hurts to introduce yourself again! [She leaves the cute, dopey smile on her face for a moment, then drops it in favor of a more polite smile.]

I don't want to take up a lot of your time, so I'll get to the point. Lady Cloche and I have been thinking about the best way to explain the Song Magic we use. And, well, I think a demo would work great! That way, anyone interested can see it up-close, live, in-person! [smile smile smile] Doesn't that sound like fun?

Song Magic is an important part of our lives as Reyvateils. It's also how we fight. So, think of it like... a cultural experience and a combat tutorial! [She bows her head, and her tone grows somber.] We're all hoping nothing dangerous happens again but... in case it does, Lady Cloche and I would like you to know- [She places her hand over her chest.] How to fight with us or, if anything bad happens... against us. [She drops the hand to her lap with a smile.]

That's right! We sing to attack, to heal... to do all sorts of stuff.

But, as far as I know, only Reyvateils, from our world, can do it.

Ah- ... yeah, that's right. I'm a Reyvateil, and Lady Cloche is an IPD Reyvateil. It's a special kind of... condition. So, when she gets scared, lonely, or hateful, there's a chance she could freak out and start singing a violent song. So it was really important to keep her calm.

Eheh, I was a little network-shy for a while. I'm not a big speech person like Lady Cloche.

If it happens, she won't stop singing until she's knocked out. She won't listen to anything people say- even if it was someone really close, like me.

That's part of why we want to tell people. If I ever started acting like the people with masks, I'd probably just keep singing too. So, if that happens, you'd have to take us down.

Hm, well. The Capricorn district seems pretty big and open... A stage would be fun, but we'd probably have to pay to rent the space... [and this cheap reyvateil refuses!]

As long as Lady Cloche doesn't use her fire magic, there wouldn't be any lasting damage...

...Oh. Okay. If it happens, I know a few tricks for knocking people unconscious without hurting them. Learned them from my martial arts lessons. If it happens, I'll use those.

But I'm not doing anything that'll kill either of you.

When a Reyvateil sings, she transforms her thoughts and feelings into tangible power. As Luca said, our singing can do quite a bit.

In our world, only Reyvateils can preform Song Magic. However, many human girls have the potential within them to awaken as Reyvateils.
