Ahh...uh...

[Miki is trying to keep a straight face but this is harder than she thought.]

...umm I think that Minami is gone. W-well no. Not 'I think'. I know she's gone since her room is occupied by someone else, so I guess she returned to our world...

[Her best friend is gone but she...she doesn't think she could leave herself just yet. Not with what she's gained here.]

I kinda need to clear my mind a bit...

Well I've been trying in the Taurus section for a few of them, but...

[The idea of her eating that boxed, pre-made food all possibly habit-forming basis makes him twitch inwardly—damn cheap crap has no place in anyone's digestive system—but otherwise he remains perfectly impassive, choosing to stay quiet as he listens to her ramble on, and he's beginning to get an idea of what her young teenage self must have been like.

But given that she's a Sanada, he's more than willing to outright ignore some of the things he's hearing, and construct them in a the way she probably meant versus what it sounds like—because right now the words are tumblings out of her mouth like she was six steps away from faceplanting onto one of Freud's couches and letting the old man have it. So, for the moment, he's happy to shove some of those things away into the back of his mind.

Though maybe she does like Minato, who knows. She probably wouldn't be the first. But if she doesn't, she doesn't and he's not going to say a word on the matter. She'll figure it out on her own. ]

Oh! Everyone working makes me realize I really need to pusher harder for a job...

I'm sure you can find something if you ask around! A lot of the shop owners seem eager to hire visitors... [for... some reason. Despite how strange many of them appear to be.]

I'll see what I can find. I think a few of them came along with me. Mindless action movies are some of the best kinds.

I know a place that sells good ice cream. We could go there, get some ice cream and then go from there? Or I could go pick some up and bring it over.

[ He doesn't mind Akihiko being present, though... he really just wanted to talk to Miki a bit about Minami and then... not think about these things at all. He's not entirely sure -- well... Minato's just not great with talking about personal stuff with a lot of people around is all. But he honestly wouldn't begrudge Akihiko wanting to comfort his sister or spend time with her or anything. ]

I actually had some ideas for working in the Taurus Ward, but Jiji wasn't a fan of me working any place there...

[What can she say, she's independent, but she does listen to him too...conflicted. Also she probably would ignore it, if she didn't feel like he'd just pay a visit to the boss at an establishment and scare them out of wanting her to work there...]
