Some demons have taken to human food sources, but in our preliminary tests, it does not give them the proper nutrition they require. It is much like a human trying to live on junkfood- unless the human food was cooked with emotional connection, it does not truly sustain the demon.
We would love to have someone on the project that could aid in this, especially- we've had some difficulties due to political opposition, so another expert on the team would help bolster our credentials.
