[What happens is something halfway between. As Taiyou steps out of the parlor and waits, absolutely nothing interesting whatsoever will happen.
If the ice cream doesn't melt as he stands around waiting, he may, however, eventually turn around and notice that the door he just walked out of suddenly seems somewhat... different.
