[Typical lab background, typical labcoat- the only odd thing about Ideo today is that he's still sporting a bandage around his forehead.]

I wanted to formally extend an offer of employment, in light of all that has happened as of late. The Sagittarius Labs are dedicated to research and development in relation to demonic incidents- and we're looking for anyone and everyone who has any history in this subject, or even those willing to learn. I've spoken to the others, and we're in the process of contacting people for a job fair of sorts...but, well...

[Ideo gave an awkward sort of laugh.]

I figured I would get the jump on the competition? Speaking of, I have at least one hire, I know- Mr. Hotsuin, any time you can stop down, I can give you your COMP upgrade.

[Ceu, true to her nature, sort of popped out of nowhere once Yamato entered the labs. Even for a serious pixie, she's still a damn pixie.]

Right this way, Mr. Hotsuin. We'll be heading to the basement lab today.

[She held out her tiny hand, as if expecting Yamato to take it. That...probably meant teleportation.]

[Well that's fine with Yamato - Alcor liked to randomly teleport him about so it was something that Yamato didn't even hesitate at. He reached out and carefully took the pixie's hand (it was a lot smaller than Alcor's okay).

[Ceu only gave a nod before teleporting in a flash of sparkles, seeming to stop at one point for an almost minuscule amount of time before they finally reached their location.

The quarters almost had a nostalgic vibe, despite the humming of tubes and warmth from the various machines. Ideo was off to the side himself, goggles and gloves on even, sifting through a box of...something. Whatever it was didn't seem nearly as important, considering he turned about almost instantly when he had company.]

I guess you weren't kidding!

[Yamato's gaze quickly took stock of the room, the nooks and crannies, the shadows, the ceiling...he logged every visible inch away in a few seconds before his gaze landed on Ideo.

His lips curved into a crooked smile]

I will be truthful. I have been anxious to begin work, so I did come here post-haste.

[To go from working on average 19 hours a day to working no hours a day drives a man crazy you know]

[Ideo pushed the goggles up to pinch down his bandage, giving a smile of his own.] I figured. Here- let me see your COMP.

[Ideo turned back to the box, grabbing a pair of pliers to the left and picking up a bizarre strip of...something. It was probably a microchip once, but the thing seemed a little more organic than was normal for technology. As if expecting a comment, he nodded his head and the goggles slipped down back over his eyes.] We're working with every and any resource we can, here. I suspect you don't mind that sort of thing.

I don't mind.

[Yamato fished out his COMP from his pocket, holding it out for Ideo to inspect while looking amused as the rebellious goggles sliding down the other's head. It looked ridiculous.

Were you injured during the Scorpio Event?

Scorpio Event summed it up pretty nicely in Yamato's opinion, it was an event, there were Scorpios, so]

[Ideo gave a sort of derisive laugh at the question, pressing something on the COMP with his thumb and pinky. The COMP seemed to meld almost...willingly with the chip after that, like it was consuming it. Nanomachines are weird.]

Sadly, I'm a Cancer. I was on my way to help with Orpheus when I got completely overrun. [Ideo handed the COMP back, and fixed his own goggles for the second time.] I got a first-hand sample of the poison those scorpions gave off, at least. I've been trying to analyze it, but it doesn't seem demonic in origin at all. I wouldn't shut up about it, so Reiko just let me come back to work.

[Ah, so Ideo was chased just like Kaito? It was a miracle he hadn't been torn to pieces]

The poison was easily healed whenever I encountered it. I naturally assumed that it was either demonic or merely generic supernatural.

[Of course, at the time, Yamato had been too busy trying not to die to analyse the poison, and after when everything calmed down, it didn't seem important since he wouldn't have encountered it any more, and it was taken care of with 'Prayer'. It wasn't like Alioth's poison which required a synthesised antidote to counter]

[Ideo held up a finger carefully, before going over to one of the three tubes. It only took three button presses on the terminal for something to manifest inside; it seemed to be a vial.]

When I examined it, it seemed generic to me as well- but cross-referencing it with the demons we have on record gave us no matches. Likewise, as time has gone on, it has gone through something of a bizarre breakdown...but not chemically.

[Only then did Ideo reach in and remove the vial, holding it away from himself.]

Bring forth your COMP glasses- in the right conditions, they'll become goggles. This program will allow your nanomachines to analyze on-scene data with much more efficiency.

[Yamato's curiosity was peaked, he would admit that. The COMP glasses did turn to goggles - which, again, curious, but Yamato set that aside to be examined later. He slipped them on, his gaze settling on the poison vial that Ideo was holding away from himself gingerly]

Hm...

[Indeed, the poison had degraded according to the information that the COMP brought up - but was still chemically similar. The poison was a milky colour and according to its temperature levels, it was nearing almost 0 Celsius degrees. That was...]

Were you keeping it in frozen storage?
