Some of them happen to seem benevolent, but the majority could care less about anyone other than themselves.
It would most likely be in humanity's best interests to be separate from them, at least. [What do you even call that? Specieist...? Entityist?]

I believe all humans are redeemable. It matters not about whether they are viewed as a monster.
