[Agatha has been working on the stuff they pulled out of the MAGI building for over a month now. All kinds of interesting research, odd looking clanks that seem to be used for visitors that need physical bodies, and a delightful array of small arms that do anything from replicate spells to supress personas entirely have been keeping her occupied for a while. People in the Saggittarius district have probably been seeing strange lights and hearing odd sounds from the already foreboding castle Heterodyne.
But now she's reached the point in her research where she needs a little help.

Specifically, she needs minions to test our some of her 'improvements' on Kandori's designs. Her voice has an excited edge to it. Not quite in the madness place, but close to it.]

This is Agatha Heterodyne. I've been working with some of the weapon designs that were salvaged from the MAGI building. The protoypes are all ready, but I'll need some minions to help me test them.

Is anyone interested?

Aye aye! [He raises two fingers to his temple in a salute.] I'll be there in a jiffy!

[When he approaches the castle, the doors will swing open. A voice echoes from the walls.]

Good evening. Please come in.

Action!

[His approach of the castle had been one of a normal stride. Still, the moment those doors open by themselves and a disembodied voice speaks, he becomes a little timid. It's like entering a haunted house.]

... Where are you?

[ding_bots_are_done]

I am all around you. The mistress awaits you in the Red Playroom. Shall I escort you there?

[A door creaks open to his left.]

[There's a moment where he glances back at the front door, as if he's considering leaving, but then he sucks it up and proceeds to the door on his left.]

[Beyond the door is a short hallway that ends in a long staircase leading down.]

It's right down the stairs and to your right.

[See? Totally harmless.]

[He peers down the staircase, eyes narrowing as he tries to see where it ends. It's a little dark around here.]

Ah... Alright then. ...Thanks.

[ding_bots_are_done]

[The staircase spirals down into the darkness, and the bottom isn't visible.]

You're very welcome...

[Proceed?]

[... Right. Yes. Well. Down the stairs he goes, then. No need to be nervous. Nope.]

[He's about three steps down when the steps suddenly fold into the floor, forming a long spiral slide. The castle is mean.]

[Shi-

He tries to quickly turn back, but it only serves to have him fall flat on his face, both arms stretched above his head as the steps vanish from right under his feet. Next thing he knows, he's sliding backwards down the 'staircase' on his stomach, his screams so loud that they'll no-doubt echo through the castle's halls.]

[Luckily for him, the bottom isn't too far down. And Agatha heard those screams and comes running up to him.]

Are you okay? Are you hurt?

[Then she glares up at the ceiling.]

Castle! I told you to treat my guests politely!

I was very polite!

[spiritofjustice]

[Don't mind Bobby, he'll just... lie there a few more moments to catch his breath. He doesn't even care anymore that the castle apparently has a mind of its own.]

...I-I'm fine! I'm fine! [Says the guy with the strained, high-pitched voice.]

[Agatha turns back to him with a look of concern.]

I am so sorry about this. The castle is.... difficult sometimes. Are you sure you aren't hurt?

[She offers a hand to help him up.]

No really, I'm fine.

[He won't decline that hand, so good luck pulling a big guy like him to his feet. Luckily, he'll try and support most of his weight on his own.]

Good.

[She grunts a little with the effort of pulling him up.]

So, do you want to take a look at the prototypes?

[He takes a quick moment to place both his hands on his back, stretching his spine, then straightens up again.]

Lead the way!

[She takes him into one of the labs, and over to a large workbench covered in an array of strange looking guns.The rest of the lab is filled with numerous machines of every shape and size, many of them making strange whirring or clicking noises.]

These are designed to replicate various persona abilities. I was hoping you might take a few and try them out in a practical setting.

[He casts a curious glance around the lab as they enter, all the whirring and clicking drawing his attention immediately. It's like he walked straight into some sort of comical lab you'd find in a themepark, with knick-knacks that look funny but serve absolutely no practical use. ...But they must have a use here, right?

With a bit of reluctance, he manages to tear his gaze away from all the surrounding machines and focus on the guns instead.]

Can do! I'll give those demons a run for their money with these.

That's the spirit!

Now, I think we should set you up with some things that your persona can't do. That way we know the guns' effects aren't being aided by the persona in any way.

Hm... I'm not really sure what my persona can do. I've only seen it charge at demons, so far.

[Not that he's summoned the Kitsune too much so far. He doesn't like to use the Evoker and any other method of summoning is just as tricky to him. His persona has a few physical attacks, some of which cause status ailments that he's unaware of.]

[She shrugs.]

Well, don't worry about it. I'll just set you up with a couple of the elemental guns. How do fire and lightning sound?

Exciting! [The word slipped from his mouth before he could stop himself, but he realizes immediately afterwards that he should probably maintain a professional attitude about this whole thing.]

I mean, I'm sure they'll be very effective in our fight to protect the city.

[Agatha laughs. Enthusiasm is good. Heck, she gets excited testing new things too.]

That's what I'm hoping. Just make sure to report back the results. And let me know if there's any problems or they need adjustments.
