I can't say for sure. Back home, these Shadows were mainly contained in an entirely different world, and only appeared when someone was thrown inside. [He's not even sure if those are the right words to use, but the situation is a little hectic.] But here...they could be anywhere.

And the only way for others to tell you apart from the Shadow is their golden eyes.

You'll have to bring the owner to the Shadow, or vice versa. As far as I can guess, they can't be destroyed, only subdued.
