Just reminding you to get your Halloween costumes before the stores are out of all the good ones and you have to be a ghost with a sheet over your head! Not that it's bad to be a spooky ghost, but you can be so much more interesting.

Slight pause as her tentacles start writhing behind her.

"...Desco thinks she needs to go lie down for a little while."

I don't think we have such a holiday in my world.

We have days that honor the dead [they do believe in ghosts, after all.], but nothing that.... requires dressing up as something else.

It's kind of like that, but with a kind of mishmash of old traditions like disguising yourself to confuse spirits. Nowadays we just do it because it's fun.

... Guilds don't have that much stuff in-game, though. They have private chat and that's it.

It must just be that way in the version of The World you're used to. Otherwise the players I know wouldn't take guilds so seriously, and neither would I.

Mostly children and teenagers. There are popular costumes you can buy at stores, or you can make one yourself if you have materials.

The only guild people really pay attention to is the Crimson Knights. I think there's a guild that a lot of the admins are in too, but I don't know what it is.
