[Ciel is making use of his communicator to call into work. Somehow this leads to his entire conversation being recorded. Thank you, technology. Thank you.]
I didn't sleep well last night and I believe a day off would me good. [It's strange enough that he is refraining from work - something he tends to focus on because all else is out of his hands, but Ciel's tone is almost...apologetic. He isn't feigning it either - or, at least, he doesn't seem to be. His face is a shade paler and he doesn't look as pristine as he usually does.]
May I take the day off? If that's okay with you, of course. [He brings his knees to his chest and sighs.] I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
[If there is one thing Ciel Phantomhive doesn't do it's apologize. What is going on?]
