[ It's been... well, a day, more or less.

Robin's had enough time to get more-or-less settled in, get some basic information, and figure out how this strange communication device worked. Thankfully, she was a quick study - no embarrassing slip-ups in handling technology for her!

And thus, with all of that out of the way, it was time for another important task. The video feed turns on to show the face of a young woman, a fairly serious look on her face. A dark-haired woman can be seen in the corner of a screen, and manly "hiyah"s and such can be heard in the background. ]

This is supposed to connect to everybody who's arrived to this city from elsewhere.... right? My thoughts go out to every messenger that's been put out of business by this.

My name is Robin, and I'm looking for anybody connected to the Ylissean army. If you are, when see this message, please contact me back for our location. You might not recognize me as the Robin you know, but-

[ The manly voice in the background cuts in- ] BINDING BLADE!!! [ Owain can now be seen in the background, his sword... neatly cutting through the wall.

Robin turns her attention towards him. ] Owain!! As small as this room is, you're going to practice something like that!?

[ Tharja can be seen more clearly as Robin gets up to scold Owain, but only for a moment as Robin turns the feed off. ]

[yup. Just gonna carefully note down where Robin's apartment is and head to the window to check out the best spots to keep an eye on her.

Gods, why is Owain here? It could've just been her and Robin, all alone...]

Soldiers? Good. We can always use more of those.

[Unfortunately (or maybe not, depending on your opinion of him), Inigo's not with them, having been lost in the hustle and bustle around the Pisces Ward. The feed captures his attention almost immediately, however.]

Robin? Is that...Owain I hear?

You might want to be careful, those walls aren't the sturdiest. [also they could... get fined by the landlord for repairs? she's not sure about that one.]

...I would suggest practising in the park or the mountains.

[As long it's not her walls being attacked, she doesn't care about them paying for the damages.]

[ Lucina's been exploring the Libra ward, learning more about the world she's landed in, when the strange device -- wait is that mother's voice? ]

[ Cue fumbling with the technology - gods, why is this so difficult? First, the screen shows the view in front of Lucina, which is nice, but... probably not helpful. ]

[ Eventually, the camera's facing her, and Lucina's face is a mix of surprise and joy, but mostly surprise. ]

Inigo! [ Hey, she thinks he's annoying, but he's not that bad. And honestly, she'll take who she can get by this point. ] Yes, Owain is here. [ As is Tharja. And possibly Yarne, we don't know yet. He's Schrodinger's Rabbit. ]

Where are you? Can you make it to the Libra Ward? [ Do you even know where that is? ]

[ In a huff- ] You'd think some people would have more common sense than to practice their "special attacks" indoors.

Unless you count me or the department of swords, no.

[ As for how one man can be an army, well, that remains to be seen. But he is a Legion of One for a reason ]

We don't need that much room to practice. [ And practicing that far away from their base of operations isn't a sound plan. ] But practicing inside of a small room like this is most definitely not a good idea, either.

Lucina! [ Thank gods that she still remembered her, too. She was worried that, if Lucina were to be here, she might be from the same timeline as Owain seemed to be from.

Speaking of- ] Yes, Owain is here, as is Tharja. Yarne should be about as well. Inigo's also made contact.

[ She pauses a moment, then- ] I'm glad that you're here.

The Department of Swords? [ Well, it sounds.... army-ish. She supposes. ]

I'm not sure if the few members we have assembled from Ylisse will be of much assistance [ okay, that's just acting humble, they can do a lot - ] but you can count us as well.

[ She nods, slowly taking in the names. Considering she thought she was alone here, that's quite a turn up. Did that mean... ] ... Has father made contact, yet? Morgan? [ Exactly how many of them were there?

But anyway - ] I... thought I was alone here. I'm glad to have been mistaken.

Are you all staying in the same location?

[ Chrom. Morgan. In this current situation, it was best they remained home, really. And she wasn't going to get depressed over their not being with her - she could handle it. Their bonds weren't so weak that distance would break them.

Still, it's with some sadness that she answers. ] No, I'm afraid not. Only those I mentioned, and you.

[ Moving on, though - she wants to see Lucina as soon as possible. ]

We're all in my room in the Libra Ward. Do you know where that is?

You would... but I've known a few guys who are that enthusiastic too.

...With training. Not with putting swords in the walls.

You have my condolences. It isn't easy to deal with.

I'll be the judge of that.

I must warn you, however...

The department of swords and the leadership here has been less than honest with us. My primary objective here is to slay daemons and deal with those manipulating humanity and be on my way.

Less than honest? [ That's disconcerting. If this Department of Swords was an official organization of Honto-Re - which it sounded as if it was, if the city's leadership was involved - what would it have to gain through lying to those trying to help? ] That doesn't sound like a sound decision.

The demons - I've heard they emerge at night. How serious of a threat are they? [ Yeah, sorry, it sounds like he knows what he's talking about, so she's trying to get some more information. ]

Yes. There are... discrepancies, but I shall say no more until I have more details.

[ Regarding daemons. ]
Quite dangerous to unaugmented humans. To me they are little threat.

I'll keep my own ears open, then.

[ Unaugmented humans... that described pretty much everybody in the Ylissen army, except the taguels and maketes, but they were hardly normal people either. ] Does that mean you're more than a normal human?

I am Legiones Astartes. I am a genehanced human with specific war-gear that allows me to fight much more effectively.

[ You know, killing whole armies with a 10 man squad, that kind of thing. ]
