[ It's been... well, a day, more or less.

Robin's had enough time to get more-or-less settled in, get some basic information, and figure out how this strange communication device worked. Thankfully, she was a quick study - no embarrassing slip-ups in handling technology for her!

And thus, with all of that out of the way, it was time for another important task. The video feed turns on to show the face of a young woman, a fairly serious look on her face. A dark-haired woman can be seen in the corner of a screen, and manly "hiyah"s and such can be heard in the background. ]

This is supposed to connect to everybody who's arrived to this city from elsewhere.... right? My thoughts go out to every messenger that's been put out of business by this.

My name is Robin, and I'm looking for anybody connected to the Ylissean army. If you are, when see this message, please contact me back for our location. You might not recognize me as the Robin you know, but-

[ The manly voice in the background cuts in- ] BINDING BLADE!!! [ Owain can now be seen in the background, his sword... neatly cutting through the wall.

Robin turns her attention towards him. ] Owain!! As small as this room is, you're going to practice something like that!?

[ Tharja can be seen more clearly as Robin gets up to scold Owain, but only for a moment as Robin turns the feed off. ]

[ Genenhanced? She files away that information for later. ] So that's what you meant. [ She pauses a moment. Since he introduced himself, it was only polite to do so herself. ] Robin, tactician of the Ylissean army. Nice to meet you. [ ...So to speak. They're not even face-to-face - strange to be carrying out a conversation in this fashion at all, but Robin will adapt. ]

[ Apparently Legiones Astartes is a title, not his name. ]

Oh. So that was a title? [ It's an honest mistake! He must get that all the time, right? ]

[ Apparently the fact that people call him the Quiet one or the Silent Wolf wasn't an overstatement. ]

[She laughs, thinking of Akihiko and the lengths he went to get stronger. If he'd been a swordsman, he probably would have put holes in the walls.]

No, not really, but that kind of person does make a good friend.

[ Oh - the news disappoints her, as much as she tries to not let it show. It almost seems unfair how she's become separated from him right after their reunion, so to speak. ] I see. [ She decides to count her blessings, though. Robin's here!

There's a small nod as she responds. ] That's where my room is, as well. [ But she's not exactly there at the moment. ] I'll return to the... apartments right away. [ That's what they're called, right? ] Which room is it?

... Mother, have you used the elevator? [ She can't help but ask, okay. ]

[And after tinkering with his device and pressing every button he sees, he manages to somehow make it work. A faint image of Robin appears.

His smile couldn't get any happier.]

Oh, Robin! Thank the gods, you're all right!

[And so is Owain, if the looks of the "battleground" in her backdrop is anything to go by.]

Where is that? I'm...in the Pisces Ward.

[Don't mind the food stands behind him. Or the unmistakable sound of giggling and chatting girls.]

Both apartments have training facilities on the fourth floor, if you don't wish to leave the building.

[She uses them on rainy days, because she doesn't want to catch a cold.]

We're in room ten-five for now. Tenth floor. [ It's quite high - certainly higher than buildings back home were. It has an excellent view, too. ]

...What's an elevator?

Yes, that's perfect!

This place certainly is convenient.

I can't argue with that. [ ...She still wishes he wouldn't put holes in the wall, though. ]

[ There's a pause, and Robin's beginning to pour over some papers. After a moment, she displays a map. ]

It's a bit of a trek. I'm sure you can manage, though.

Unless you're too busy?

[ Her tone is serious. It means "This is important, you'd better not put it off to go chasing girls." ]

[ All right, moving on- ]

We'll assist as we can, until we can leave. I've heard something about a barrier surrounding the city? [ Which would make leaving difficult. ]

[Which is all Miyako needed. Anything else, she'd just seek out on her own.]

The training facilities are well-equipped and have enough space for your training. Just remember the other residents are also using them as well.

[Just don't break anything.]

Enough room for practicing magic as well, or would that prove too problematic?

Er, no! N-Not busy at all.

[Looking at the map takes some getting used to but he figures it out -- and yes, it's a bit of a trek. He can make it, provided there aren't any, um, distractions along the way.]

[As soon as he's done with this food tour.

Okay, maybe he can cut it short.

That depends on the magic, but practising them outside would be preferable if they're offensive in nature.

[Shortly after the... er... "Binding Blade" attack there is a startled shriek that can be easily heard through the new hole in the interior wall.

And then a few moments later there's a knock on Robin's door. Maaaaaybe it would be a good idea to answer that.]

[ Yes, a few moments after that knock, this girl's gonna be opening the door.

Welp. ]

...Outside it is, then.

[A logical choice to make.] Is there anything else?

I'll be there shortly. [ Very high. She first had to wonder if this thing was sturdy enough to hold all these floors. ]

It seems to be what the residents call the... machine that transports you to different floors. [ ... She pauses for a minute, and adds - ] They're significantly faster than using stairs, though the enclosed space can get uncomfortable.
