[A serious-looking girl appears on the network. The video clearly shows the inside of a mostly-empty apartment, and the girl herself is wearing the COMP glasses, eyes quickly scanning - presumably, she's reading something on the network as she talks rather than looking at the camera.]

The people who greeted me on arrival suggested I introduce myself over the network once I moved in. My name is Latooni Suvota. I was...brought to this place without my knowledge, but I'm told this is common here due to some kind of unconfirmed dimensional activity. If anyone could summarize what they know about it, and how this city might be connected to other dimensions, I would appreciate it.

Other than that...I'm still getting acquainted with this place, but I hope I'll be able to help with any problems this city has while I'm here.

Oh, one more thing...

[With a quick and seemingly-practiced motion, the camera angles flicks to Latooni's point of view through the glasses, and she turns her head to look out her apartment's balcony door. Only a couple floors down from where she's sitting is the red, white, and blue head of a humanoid machine, which by all appearances has been left standing in a thankfully mostly vacant parking lot.]

Are there any hangar or garage facilties here that could fit a personal trooper about 18 meters tall?

...I wonder why they'd bring large equipment like that here if there's no place to store it. Even if they don't really control what appears here, you'd think there would be a limitation...

Hello, I'm Lt. Commander Ruri Hoshino of the Battleship Nadesico. I've done a little research into boson physics for transportation, and my ship can accommodate mecha of up to 22 meters tall.

Well let's see. If that "Personal Trooper" is a good representation, we're probably pretty close technologically. We've got Earth overseen largely by the United Earth Sphere Alliance, a smattering of space colonies at each of the lagrangian points, settlements on the moon. We just got through a big war, and everyone's still kind of getting through being shell-shocked by that...

That covers the big picture I guess, what about yours?

Er...that's actually really similar to mine, if you change some names. It was more like a series of wars, though. The Divine Crusaders, the Aerogaters, then the mess with the Neo-DC, Shadow-Mirrors, Einst, and Inspectors...

I was thinking just bringing Wildraubtier seemed like a little much...whatever dimensional anomaly is going on here, it's pretty serious.

Given the nature of everything I've seen here, the science behind it may be more theoretical than I understand. Something like the Martian ruins of my home world.

I've seen a system that apparently transported a whole army, but it supposedly scattered them across space-time. I guess fitting a whole ship into a contained city like this is the impressive part, more than transporting it in the first place.

Its only 200 meters long and this is a large city. Finding a place to land has been the real issue given the lack of spaceports.

Certainly. All 12 berths are open. I just ask you don't have the robot rampage in the hangar, or try to showcase any one hit final moves.

I don't have an engineering team to deal with that.

The Wildraubtier doesn't really have any one-hit final moves.

[The image shakes a bit as Latooni is obviously gathering up her ID to head outside. Better to get her PT secured somewhere as soon as possible.]

Did you have a problem with pilots doing that before?

Yes. Several of the ones I've had in the past like to mirror moves from an old anime in their robots.
