Nyarlathotep is such a facet of mankind that they can seldom see what lurks within them. It is a fantastic power, but I am more impressed in your ability to stand up to such a force.

This city seems to project a certain degree of hope to the constellations, so at the very least it is a safe assumption that they mean much more than that as well. Perhaps they are hope in the future, in some small way.
