[The video feed turns on, and Naminé appears, standing in front of the stark white walls of the hospital. While she appears very calm, her eyes keep glancing sideways back to where the subject of her post is undoubtedly resting.]

Hi everyone. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Naminé, Kairi's sister. I'm posting this message for a few reasons. The first is to apologize on her behalf to the people she kidnapped and temporarily imprisoned last Friday. She was under the effects of the city event, and didn't mean any harm. [A wry smile.] If anything it was a sign that she cares very deeply for you.

[The smile fades a little.] The second thing I need to tell you is that some things happened at the end of the day that caused her to fall unconscious. Normally this wouldn't be anything to worry about, and it wasn't, at first. But she lapsed into a coma over the weekend, and I'm not sure when she'll be waking up.

[A pause. She seems to wrestle with herself before she finally gives an edited version of what she really wants to say.]

Normally we don't bring up the place we were at before we came to Hinoto-Ri, but since it has to do with the coma, it's relevant, and it'll give you a better understanding of the situation she's in right now.

The place we were in before was called the Facility, and long story short, the Facility had a terrible effect on us physically, mentally, and emotionally. The coma is one of the physical side effects, a part of a sickness all Facility members contracted. Most people who fell into the coma eventually woke up, but it can take weeks, and...that's why that she won't be around for a while.

I'll let everyone know as soon as she's awake again. In the meantime, please don't worry too much. She wouldn't want you to worry. That, and everyone has visiting rights. [A rueful laugh.] She's probably already tired of me talking to her all day anyways.

...and I'll be here too, if you have questions.

[She nods to the camera and then turns away, the feed ending with a click.]

[Sora is solemn when he answers this. There was enough worry in someone going comatose on Alpha Omega but they had pods. Special pods that were perfect for those who were comatose.]

I'll be there too - to answer questions, Nami.

[Pause.]

Have you eaten yet?

C-Coma?!

[Well he feels really dumb not hearing about this but then again he's had a headache since Saturday morning.

And also shit was awkward.]

Are you sure she's gonna be OK?! Th-That sounds pretty serious...

[She shakes her head, pushing back her bangs.]

Not yet. I didn't even realize it was past lunch time.

Kairi will be okay.

[A small smile as he attempts optimism.]

I'll pick something up for you. What do you want?

She'll be fine. [She has to believe that.] Kairi has been through this before, and it's really just a deep sleep. She doesn't feel any pain, and she doesn't have any nightmares.

[In other words, it could be worse...]

I know. I just can't help worrying. [A weak smile.] I'm the worrywart between the two of us, after all.

[She breathes in. Now that he mentions it she is starving.]

Anything sounds good right now, to be honest. Though soup sounds especially wonderful.

We'll just have her treat us to ice cream when she wakes up for making us worry. [Because he worries too.]

[Nods. Time for a food run.]

Alright, I'll be there in a little bit.

I-If you say so... [He didn't really look convinced at all, but-- well, there wasn't any point in making Naminé worry as much as he was. And, not point in dwelling on it either! Right?]

Uh, Naminé, right--? I'm usually down at the hospital a lot myself most of the day, so if you need anything, or if you need any help, let me know, OK? I mean, I'm not a doctor, but I'm sure there's something I can do if you need it.

Oh yes. Sea-salt ice cream, of course.

[She rubs at her eyes and sighs.]

Okay. I'll be waiting here. I might make some coffee to keep myself awake...

Yes, that's me. And you're Daichi, right? Thank you for the offer. I don't really need anything myself, but like I said, please feel free to visit. I wouldn't mind the company. And Kairi would like it too, I think.

Of course.

[Laughs and gives her a little salute.]

See you in a while.

[She wiggles her fingers back at him in farewell and then ventures out into the hospital cafeteria to see if she can buy a coffee.

When he finally comes over, she's sitting in her seat again, cradling a styrofoam cup in her hands. Her nose scrunches up after every sip.]

It smells nice...but it's so bitter when there's nothing else in it.

[Sora sets his bags down on a nearby flat surface, starting to pull things out. A couple of different Italian soups, pasta and garlic breadsticks. Plastic forks, spoons and napkins.]

You could put sugar in it.

[He holds up the soups.]

Minestrone or Tortellini?

[Nano offers a small smile in return, nodding back at Namine's words.]

It's all right. We were probably all safer where Kairi had us locked away than we would have been outside anyway.

[But then of course, after hearing the other news she can't help but frown.]

I hope she'll be okay. Is there anything I can do to help? I know she doesn't know me all that well, but she must have remembered me enough to want to keep me safe. I'd like to return the favor if I can and let her know that her friends are still thinking about her.

[Her stomach growls as she catches a whiff of the food, and the coffee is immediately abandoned.]

I know, I just wanted to try it "black". My coworkers at the cafe usually drink it this way.

[And it is clearly the wrong way.]

Ooh, tortellini.

[She gets up and gives Kairi's limp hand a small squeeze before moving to help Sora set up the food on the nearby table.]

[Though he is still reeling over his random acts of kindness, Ciel listens to her talk about the Facility. He has heard about it before.]

Do the collars play a part in her coma?

Naminé! { She stumbles a little as she responds to the post. } I think I was thinking about you... I found Kairi. She reminded me of you and now...

Will she be alright?

Actually, Nano...there is one thing that you could do, if it isn't too much trouble. Kairi's manager at her flower shop wanted to send over a get-well bouquet. Could you pick it up and bring it over? Then afterwards you can visit Kairi and we can talk for a while. I'd love the company.

Not particularly. Why do you think it has anything to do with our collars?

She will be. [She has to be.] It's just going to take some time. I think the longest it took a Facility member to wake up from a coma was about a month.

Of course! I'd be happy to.

I recall that...Joshua?...having a bad reaction when he tried to remove his collar.

A month! But...she has to eat...and drink. She won't make it that long!

[He pulls out a couple of syrofoam bowls he grabbed from cafeteria, along with a couple of plates.]

I don't even like coffee with all the stuff in it.

[If anything he prefers tea.]

I got a couple of pastas too, for later.

[Because he knows Nami won't leave until she's made to.]

So you guys got subjected to biological warfare?

... waitaminute, you're the girl she asked me to build a weapon for!
