How do you stop missing someone who isn't here? Like if you miss her-- uh, it... them, really... kinda badly. Is there a ritual or something, like for getting rid of bad spirits? A tea I can drink? Does missing people work that way?

And of course! For example, I got a job as a music teaching assistant recently. It just depends on what you want to do.

It was. I played music a lot back home, so I'm certainly experienced enough. Though what sort of job would you look for?

Um... I can cook? And clean? Aaand... Sew. [ And kill people. ]

Hmm... Maybe working as a cook or tailor or something similar, in that case?

I've never worked professionally before, though. Wouldn't my resume be lacking?

It would. But I imagine that if you are able to show that you have the right skills, it shouldn't be much of a problem to find a job that will at least give you some experience.

I'm not sure... they might find someone better than me, right? [ Pessimism forever. ]

There will always be someone better, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try! Or else you'll never get what you want.

It's just that the possibility being told that you weren't good enough after you tried nerve-wrecking. I know that feeling.

But you're right there. You have to take the chance, and if you fail at first, you keep trying until you succeed.
