I'm curious so if you would indulge me for a moment... How many of you were familiar with the term 'persona' prior to coming here? Also, who was familiar with the term in the context of using it to describe the power that people gain here?

They are both common psychological terms. Persona and Shadow, that is. I can't say I'm familiar with Philemon, however.

In order to obtain one's Persona, one must tame one's Shadow. That's how it worked where I am from.

That's right. I suppose I should look into other studies. Perhaps the term shows up elsewhere.

It's a little odd to me for so many people to possess them. Back home there was only a very select few who could use the power of persona.

I can see why. I was at least partially familiar with the concept presented to me although the location itself is quite new.

It's more accurate to say we weren't even aware the power existed until someone used it as a tool for murder. [sorta kinda. it was the ability of persona that allowed access to the TV world. so technically it was the awakened persona ability that was used for murder.]
